An excellent family apartment of approx 65 m2 suitable for small or larger families accommodating the needs of children of all ages. It is located in a quiet street just off avenue des Ternes at walking distance to the metro (Porte Maillot, Porte de Champerret), several public car parks, a variety of French bistros and brasseries, the traditional French food market of rue Poncelet and a selection of elegant boutiques and department stores.
The apartment is in a typical Haussmannian building on the first floor with elevator overlooking a quiet courtyard. It includes a well proportioned lounge/family room with a fully equipped open kitchen with a marble table for 8 people; 1 large bedroom with 1 queen size bed (140 cm), 2 single beds and 1 toddler bed; 1 baby room with a cot bed and 1 double bedroom with a super king size bed (180 cm) and a large wall to wall wardrobe. There is 1 bathroom with large shower, toilet and washbasin. The apartment is equipped with top range equipment including: dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker, microwave/traditional oven, washer/dryer machine, cable TV, flat screen TV, DVD/PVR, high speed wireless internet and a Bose sound system.
The apartment is equipped to cater for young babies with a secure cot bed, changing table, seating / feeding solution, baby bjorn bouncer and a bath seat.
The apartment has been redecorated entirely to a contemporary style whilst retaining the key features of a traditional Parisian apartment (ceiling covings, antique wooden flooring throughout and a fire place). The furniture has been carefully selected by interior decorators from Parisian designers to provide a comfortable and elegant style.
The apartment is located 5 minutes away (by foot) from the luxurious boutiques of Palais des Congres, and approx 15 minutes (by foot) from the Arc de Triumph and Champs Elysees. There is a bus stop on the main road outside the building with connections to the airport and to the main districts of Paris (Opera within 15 minutes).
Lastly, the apartment is excellently located at short driving distance or underground commuting to the business district of La Defense as well as Charles de Gaulle airport. This makes it an excellent solution for families relocating to Paris for business purposes or business people on short/medium term assignments.

Hello, my name is Zoe Lutgen and I am Greek by origin, married to a French man. Paris is one of my favourite places in the world and has always been part of our family life. Our apartment has been fully redone to suit our large family and to cater for our needs when in town. It is a true family home in a great neighbourhood in which my husband has lived most of his Parisian life. I am certain that our home will make your stay very comfortable and memorable.
Zoe Lutgen purchased this apartment in 2008
Aside from being the place where my husband spent a large part of his adult life, the 17th arrondissement offers quiet living, while remaining in the centre of Paris, and having easy access to the airport. There is a huge variety of shops and restaurants in the area, but most importantly, the very renowned food markets of this arrondissement give this place a unique feeling of true Parisian life.
A truly unique family home able to cater for a larger family, if needed, which gives you the comforts of modern living in a typical Parisian setting. You can pick up your food from the local traditional food markets to enjoy a quiet meal at home after a busy day out and about or just stroll around and select one of the many bistros and brasseries to enjoy an evening out. Nothing is too far from our place and life is simply enjoyable!
The apartment is well equipped, clean and very confortable.
We stayed in this lovely apartment in August. We are a family of four. This apartment is well equipped, secure and near many amenities; plenty of grocery stores and shops nearby. The metro is a quick ten minute walk from the apartment and we found the line connected directly to many of the popular tourist stops. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Zoe was very accommodating in regards to our travel plans; we split 14 days time between Paris and Nice and stayed at the apartment on two separate occasions. It was great to come back to a familiar place and not have to readjust to somewhere new. We were met at the apartment on the first night by Pascal and he was very helpful and welcoming. He showed us around the apartment and left us with fresh fruit, wine and a baguette as a welcoming gift! He also suggested an Italian restaurant just around the corner from the apartment that we loved! We found everyone we encountered in the area to be friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again.
This apartment served as an ideal base for my husband to attend a week-long meeting at the nearby Meridien Etoile and sightseeing for me and my daughters. Beds from crib to toddler bed, bunk beds, and queen can accommodate every age range. The living space is quiet and comfortable, a well-equipped kitchen perfect for sharing light meals. We enjoyed the convenience of the neighborhood, which offers grocery shopping, bakeries, and restaurants. The Metro stop Porte Maillot is just a few blocks away and the ticket to the rest of Paris. Merci for a seamless and delightful stay!
Great location. Short walk from Metro station on #1 line. Zoe and Carole were very helpful and efficient in helping with planning, check-in, etc. They were always very prompt in returning emails! Very clean, well stocked apartment with new bathroom and kitchen. We did no cooking, but the kitchen would have been great to cook in. Only issue is having to walk through the second bedroom from the master bedroom to get to the bathroom. Could be a problem for two, non-related couples traveling together. I was reluctant to use the tiny elevator, so always used the narrow stairs since the apartment was only one flight up. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation! My first experience with VRBO..but it won't be my last!
We settled nicely into the apartment after a few initial surprises. The king size bed has its own bedroom but the queen size bed is part of a bunk bed- the top bunk. For a group of four adults (2 couples) this made things difficult. The apartment manager was quick to leave and didn't turn on the boiler upon our arrival.
That being said, the apartment is located in the perfect area. Close to the metro, walking distance to the Arc of Triumph, etc. I had pleasant correspondences with Zoe during the booking process and never had any concerns before our arrival. We were traveling with an infant and she went above and beyond to insure the crib was set up, there was a bucket of toys for us to use, etc.
This was my first vrbo experience and overall it was a success.
Zoe's apartment was just perfect for us. It was immaculate, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and in a great location. Zoe was always very responsive to our inquiries prior to our arrival, and the manager was kind enough to track down and decorate a lovely Christmas tree, as we were there over the holidays. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom-a huge plus-and a modern and well-equipped kitchen. The kids bedroom is spacious and can easily accommodate 4 kids. We'd recommend this apartment to any family member or friend.
