My husband and I both work at a high school. My husband is a principal and I am a counselor. We love to travel during our time off. I grew up in the Midwest so we spend time traveling back there and checking out the sites between Oregon and there! My husband loves dogs and I am growing to love them :) November of 2012 we added a baby to our family. It has been a life changing event!
Christina purchased this house in 2009
This house was my primary residence during the school year but after having a baby my husband and I decided it would probably be easier if we lived together. We enjoy having this house to use when we come up to hang out with friends or enjoy Eugene life!
I fell in love with this home because of the great location. We also have three St. Bernards so the fenced back yard was perfect.
Talk about a hidden gem in Eugene! Had our group stay here & really only there to shower & sleep but still this home was so comfy, convenient, & every amenity u want & need! Really loved the floor plan as well that allowed few of us to stay up & talk while allowing others to sleep in complete peace & quiet with private hallway to 3 of 4 bdrms! Oh yeah AND that also meant the cooks in the EARLY morning could work without having to be super quiet! ;-). Owners (Christina) was super duper friendly from time of request, throughout, & even after we left....YES YES YES, we'll be staying here again every yr & would recommend this house to anyone who wants an awesome homely home that's truly a "HIDDEN GEM"!!! ;-)
The house was great. Much bigger than we expected and we wished we had more friends to share it with. It had everything we needed and more. Its perfect for anyone traveling with dogs too! Fenced yard, dog bowls and beds. Owners are great to deal with, quick to respond and professional. Would rent again if I return to Eugene.
This was a great place to stay!! It didn't feel cramped at all and we have 6 adults and 7 kids. There are 4 bedrooms and there is an extra twin mattress that really came in handy. I'm checking my schedule to and will rent this place again. The owners are extremely nice and really want you to enjoy their house. I definitely come here again.
First, the property owners are both very nice people and did their best to make things right. However, with toilet overflow problems and the lack of a air conditioner that would continue to operate our stay was somewhat tainted. In order for these two problems to be corrected we had to be available for the repairman which took time away from our vacation. The owner did reimburse us for our time, which was truly appreciated but it didn't give us that time back. A couple suggestions: an easy chair or two would be great, an additional TV in the MBR would be great and a dresser in the MBR where all the drawers work would be nice. Good things: clean, great washer and dryer, functional kitchen and easy access to downtown and a local mall. No, I would not recommend this property to a friend or relative.
Perfect for my family. We enjoyed our stay. It's a big house and would hold way more than the five of us. Great yard.
We arrived at the worse time for our vacation. It snowned in Oregon!!!!. We arrived at our destination after FIVE HOURS of driving from Portland to Eugene. If it hadn't been for the comfort of our rental, our stay would not have been as pleasant I wish we could have enjoyed our surroundings , but were unable to travel and sight see.
