The views were amazing. I enjoyed sitting in the sun room with two rocking lounge chairs and even space heaters & afghans for chilly morning. When the sun came out, we opened the windows and basked. Main beach was just across the street from the condo, but who needs to go there when you can sit in the sun room? Straight ahead and to the right, panoramic ocean views. To the left, Laguna Canyon views.
Steve emailed us regularly to make sure we were comfortable and everything was as expected. He gave us good restaurant recommendations (Carmelitas across the street--best Mexican I've had in years.) The house had all the comforts of home with fluffy bedding, fans, space heaters, full-size shampoos, hair driers, spices in the pantry, etc. The furnishings were luxurious and even 2 iPod docks were provided, one on the deck and another in the living room.
We would recommend this condo to anyone seeking a downtown Laguna Beach experience. You can park your car in the garage and enjoy the town and beach on foot. We visit Orange County at least once a year while visiting family and have stayed in homes with great views, but they weren't within walking distance to anything but the beach and that was a hike down a million stairs. This year I insisted on staying right in Laguna and were so glad we found this place. My husband commented that anyone would be crazy to stay in a tiny, expensive hotel room when you could have this 2 bedroom condo with spectacular views for the same price or less.
