Free underground parking, high speed wireless internet, cable TV, and bicycles are provided at no additional cost. The building offers a swimming pool and hot tub, sauna, exercise room, squash courts and sauna.

Linens and towels for 6 are provided as is coffees/teas, spices, soaps, lotions and amenities, hair dryer, iron and board, discount coupon book and some snacks upon arrival. Secure credit card owner, Visa and Mastercard payments are accepted.

Steps out the front door you will find English Bay sunsets and beaches, foot ferry to Granville Island, and access to Vancouver's seawall. Located on the quite side of downtown across from Granville Island in the upscale Beach Avenue and Hornby Street district. It has 4 unique levels, 1800 square foot of living space, a 450' roof-top deck, courtyard patio off kitchen and a street picnic area.

Out the street-side private entrance is a tree'd city park, the kitchen walks out to a sitting area and courtyard and a private roof-top deck is furnished with patio table, sun bed and swing bench. An off-leash waterfront dog park is 5 minutes away.

The neighbourhood is upscale and quite for being downtown with a city block park across from the house. The sunsets over English Bay and the waters between the bridges rival any I've seen. Loving the outdoors this location gives you the best walks, hikes and bikes as all the best of what the city has to offer.

The patios are great in the summer months. Roof top dining and lounging, the amenities from squash courts to fitness room and the easy access walks to the waterfront and downtown core. Shopping can be found within moments from the garden shop next door to downtown's upscale shopping a short walk away.

Loved the location of this townhouse. We walked everywhere. Took the Aquabus to Granville Island, then walked back over the Granville St. Bridge. Our own entrance on ground level was wonderful. A little cluttery inside. Enjoyed the roof top patio in the sunshine. We had trouble with keys and finding our way back from underground parking. Overall an excellent choice for our group of 6.

NOT QUITE WHAT WAS EXPECTED.

We booked the townhouse for four nights in May of 2014 and we did so primarily for three reasons; location, size and outdoor facilities. The location was, as most other reviews have stated, exceptional. It is central to downtown, close to Granville Island and within walking distance of the skytrain. Travelling as a group of five, the overall size of the unit worked reasonably well for our party. Although two of the bedrooms were a little cramped with double occupancy. We were tremendously disappointed to learn three or four days prior to our arrival that the outdoor facilities (patios and outdoor grill) were inaccessible because of exterior renovations. Had we known this earlier, there is a very good chance that we would have looked for other accommodation. As property owners ourselves, we feel that it is the owners responsibility to be honest, fair and forthright in terms of the condition of the rental property. Three or four days notice was none of the above.

We were also somewhat perplexed with the overall condition of the unit. Neither the fridge nor the oven had been cleaned - indeed, we ended up having to dispose of items that had been left in the fridge, including a container of milk. A good vacuum and a thorough scrubbing was much needed.

A final note and a general maintenance comment, the upstairs washroom sink was partially plugged and very slow to drain.

I wish that you had contacted me with any deficiencies, as I had called you 3 times during your visit to make sure that you were comfortable. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

POSITIVES:
I have stayed at this townhouse numerous times over the past two years and I have never been disappointed with my stay. Scotty has always been a great host, very accommodating with check-in and check-out times. The townhome is so unique with something interesting in every corner. It's clean and creatively decorated. It's also equipped with everything you need to cook at home.

The location is FANTASTIC! A short walk to shopping, and adventure. VERY close to the seawall, Granville Island, Theatres, etc. You can't go wrong with this townhome, plus it is one of the very few three bedroom townhomes in the area!

NEGATIVES:
Well, my negatives are not really negatives, more circumstantial. The building is being completely renovated. So during my last two stays there was no access to the rooftop, or the patio. I'm sure once the building is finished it's going to be fantastic!!

I would definitely recommend this property. It is exactly as described in the description, the photos don't do it justice. The property is clean and fairly well-maintained. The owner is awesome!

DISAPPOINTING

We had a disappointing stay at this townhouse. There was NO power our entire stay in one of the bedrooms - no lights no plugs. The outside is a MESS with construction and the parking is tiny. The location is good, but the bedrooms have no floorspace as they are small with a LOT of furniture, not much room for a suitcase! Scotty was responsive by email but our problems didn't get fixed during our stay.

Owner's Response: I appreciate feedback and always handle those issues that may arise with my guests. Yes, the area is the best in the city. Problems do arise with all properties like a blown fuse which I'm glad you were able to switch the next morning as I had dispatched maintenance for 7am following your midnight email to me. Reflected accurately in the pictures, the townhouse has over 1500' interior which is considered very large for downtown Vancouver, free parking is often hard to come by. All other facilities with pool, squash courts etc. remain open while the building under goes exterior upgrades completing end of winter for the summer patio season.

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location in downtown Vancouver. Close to all tourist attractions, fine restaurants and major event locations. My partner and I loved this place! This is a sleek and stylish townhome that allowed for a luxurious feel to our getaway in the big city. We had the most comfortable sleeps here!! A home away from our home on the Island. For us, it was a big city west coast oasis!!

GREAT LOCATION IN DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER

This townhouse was perfect for our family vacation in Vancouver. The owner had some great tips in his welcome packet. The location is wonderful with an easy walk to Robson street and a quick water taxi to Granville Island. The only complaint is that the building is under renovation and the construction workers were very noisy at 7 am. The owner does give a heads up about this in the description. Overall we would happily stay there again.
