A long windy path past the Buddha statue leads to the Tara Cottage at the rear of the house. The construction of the cottage was dedicated to the Goddess Tara, which, according to the Hindu and Buddhist traditions, has the power to remove obstacles in one's life and recharge the energy for future actions. The crisp mountain air can both vitalize and relax, and the woodsy surroundings create a quiet and peaceful atmosphere in the Cottage.
The Tara cottage is a tall spacious studio. It features beautiful antique wood flooring and a sitting area with a comfy couch next to a warm stove, perfect for chilly evenings. Restful sleep awaits you on the luxury queen bed under the skylights where you will witness a myriad of bright stars brought on by the night sky.
The contemplation loft is a very cozy space upstairs. It's the ideal hideaway for quiet time. Stare deep into nature through the skylight. Lounge with a good book. We have a collection of holistic books in the cottage for your perusal during your stay.
In the private bathroom, the mix of green and blue tiles will make you feel relaxed and at harmony with the environment, which is an important aspect in the morning!
The natural lime stone floor frames the kitchenette equipped with a sink, refrigerator, hot plate, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, dishes, pots & pans, silverware, etc. Enjoy a delightful breakfast in the privacy of your own suite. We take care to stock your refrigerator with organic/local breakfast items: dairy / non-dairy milk, juice, eggs, seasonal fruit and other yummy goodies. Guests will also find a supply of organic teas, and coffee.
Woodstock Holistic B&B is nestled in the woods near the beautiful cascading Millstream. It's difficult to remember that you are in the very heart of Woodstock -- the most famous small town in the world. A short 5-10 min walk from our property brings you to the crossroads of town where restaurants and shops await. Or take our bikes for a joy ride.

There is a 2-night minimum stay. Double occupancy room with the ability to accommodate additional guests. Additional guests incur a $50 charge per night. Well-behaved dogs welcome. There is a $75 pet fee per stay, $250 deposit.
We have a 14-day cancellation policy. 100% refund with at least two-week’s notice. Cancellations less than two week's notice of check-in date are charged 50% of the total stay + tax. Cancellations less than 48 hours of check-in date are charged 100% of reservation + tax.
We're a 2 hour drive from NYC. There is also a bus from NYC’s Port Authority to the center of town, which is a stone’s throw away from Woodstock Holistic. If you prefer to take the train to Rhinecliff, a cab ride is approximately $40-$50.
