Light, bright & lovely, this warm and spacious contemporary home is in a great location – a short drive, 3 minutes from 1st Beach & Cliff Walk, 5 minutes from downtown Newport. It is located on ½ acre in a quiet cul-de-sac near Green End Pond, which offers privacy and seasonal water views. This jewel is perfect for all fun gatherings. It is ideal for a family vacation, girls’ getaway, a couples’ week, or a wedding/graduation event. WEEKLY (+) Rentals only, please.

The main level (1st floor) of this 3 level home is the hub of activity. The 1st floor has a living room with a 50” Plasma TV, a dining room which seats 6-8, a fully equipped kitchen, a deck, two bedrooms (one with a double bed & one with 2 twin beds), a full bathroom off the hallway and a utility room with washer & dryer. The upper level (2nd floor) is the Master Suite - featuring a master bedroom with king sized bed, cathedral ceiling & a private deck; an adjoining large master bathroom with a walk-in shower and a double sink vanity; and a separate study. The lower level is a multi-functional den with TV and convertible sofa(s) - perfect for a play/game room or an extra sleeping area. Other household amenities include skylights, cable TV, air-conditioners, lots of beach stuff and ample parking. It is not only fully furnished, it is fully equipped. Just bring your suitcase and enjoy all the comforts of home.

A Hidden Gem! Wonderful Owner!

We could not have had a better stay. We (3 adults and 1 infant) were there from mid-Sept to mid-Oct while my spouse was working at the Naval Station. We lived in Newport for several years in the past, so we know the area quite well, but had no idea that this little piece of Newport existed.

The house: The house sits in a cul-de-sac, and the entire street is covered by canopy of majestic trees. The shade was perfect because I was watching the baby for most of the day, so I was able to take him outside and stroll back and forth in the court. We also spent a lot of time in the back yard - it has a flowering plant that draws butterflies when the weather is still good. Absolutely beautiful. As for the house itself, it has cathedral ceilings and abundant light from the skylights that never make you feel stuffy, even if you spend hours indoors.

The owner: The owner did a wonderful job decorating and maintaining it as well. She was an absolute delight - she was very responsive, and you could tell that she genuinely wanted you to feel like a welcome guest in her home.

The location: If you need access to the base, the drive was 10 minutes to the far end of the Naval station. It's less than 10 minutes to the beaches or the cliff walk if you take Valley Road, and about the same amount of time to downtown Newport if you take Kay and the other back roads.

We miss the house already. Hope you enjoy your stay!
