If you want to experience living on the pulse of New York City life then you should stay in our Bleecker Street apartment. It is superbly situated between Sullivan St and McDougal St, and is right smack in the heart of Greenwich Village in Downtown Manhattan. This historic neighborhood brings together famous nightclubs, music and comedy venues, and was once a major center for American bohemia. The famous Comedy Cellar is just around the corner on MacDougal St, where top NYC comedians perform. Jerry Seinfeld made his 2002 documentary film there.
The neighborhood offers convenient access to an abundance of restaurants that suit every taste, price and dietary preference including high-end vegan, ethnic cuisines, elegant dining, street food vendors, and specialist bakeries, such as the original Magnolia Bakery on Bleecker St!
The apartment is on the second floor, set back from the noise and bustle of this busy and exciting street. This quiet 1-bedroom apartment, only steps away from the city streets, is your best pick for a vacation stay in the City. It is only one block away from SoHo, two blocks away from the well-known Washington Square Park. It is also within walking distance to a dozen lines of the NYC subway system; or you can hail a cab right outside your door.
Recently renovated, this apartment features a good size kitchen with all cooking utensils and new appliances. There are two double beds in the bedroom, one sofa bed in the living room, and a twin folding bed as an additional option. We pride ourselves on keeping the furniture clean and cared for!
Rates are $175 - $250 per night depending on the season and length of stay. No pets please!

"We stayed for 4 nights in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable and we were surprised at how quiet it was. It is centrally located to all the social and cultural amenities in the area. It felt very safe and comfortable. We loved it. We had our kids with us (1 teen and 1 young adult) and had concerns about being confined to a relatively small space (around 500 square feet) but it worked out great. The bathroom is modern and quite spacious and is situated at the distal end of the apartment, which gave it a private appeal! There is a broadband and Wi-Fi Internet access, easily accessible and was reliable. Lots of public transportation options and there was a little supermarket a few doors down from the apartment.
On the down side, the windows do not have a street view; they look into the back of surrounding buildings but we would rather have the quietness over the street view!
I would not hesitate to recommend it; it is a great price for such a fabulous location. We will be back!
Sweet apartment, modern well-kitted kitchen. We were happy to cook some meals in the apartment rather than eat out all the time. We loved the location and walked everywhere. Apartment is clean and the beds were comfortable and looked new.
I would recommend it; it’s a steal at that price.
Having read some of the negative reviews we were somewhat cautious about taking this apartment; our caution was ill founded. We were delighted to find this apartment to be clean, modern and it had everything we needed. It was quiet for a city apartment and we slept well during the night. The layout is good considering it’s small size. The bathroom is generous in size and everything was in working order. We spent most of our time in the city and loved how accessible everywhere was from the apartment. We would definitely take that apartment again.
We arrived during the cold, cold winter of NYC, and was so much looking forward to a warm, cozy home. Luckily we found it! This apartment is warm, clean, and cozy. The nice floor plan allows a family of 4 to live there comfortably. The apartment has obviously been deep cleaned, and smelt fresh.
The location is SUPER good, with only a few steps to SOHO. We enjoyed all day walking on the street, chatting with neighbors, and explore the NYU neighborhood.
We will come again next year!
This is my first VRBO rental, and I was a little nervous having seen the negative reviews. However, Connie assured me that the previous reviewers' complaints had been attended to. The closet had been cleaned out and there wasn't dirt or dust anywhere. The toilet was shaky, but the shower and shower curtain looked nice and clean. There were six chairs and four beds (as well as many pillows) - definitely enough. As for cockroaches, anyone who has been in NYC knows they are as much a part of the city as $1 pizza shops. But I digress. The apartment is very safe and quiet. The location is EXCELLENT, with convenient access to fantastic dining and the beautiful Washington Square Park, as well as being walking distance to SoHo for shopping and art galleries, plus several subway stations. My mom and I had dinner at Quantum Leap, which has terrific vegetarian/vegan options, by the way. All in all it was a lovely stay. the only thing that wasn't satisfactory was the toilet. I would absolutely return, and recommend the apartment to a friend!
I´m going along with Olivia´s description. For five persons the flat is almost to small, there is no space to store your luggage. You can sleep in clean beds and wash yourself. But nothing else. Of course you can use the kitchen but there´s no place for sitting besides on the beds. When I sat on one of the two chairs (I´m 85 kg) it crashed. But nevertheless the flat is charming and we felt good there. For recommendation it depends on the person who wants to stay there. For some students or so it´s a great location and I would recommend. But I don´t think it´s the right place for spoiled people with a strong wish for comfort.
