Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6-10)

Located in Blue Ridge/Happy Jack, AZ - just 2 hours northeast of Scottsdale. Enjoy serious climate relief at approx. 7,000 ft elevation. Tall pines and oak trees adorn this nearly 10 acre property. Gorgeous forest lakes just minutes away offering great fishing, boating and swimming. Loads of wildlife to be seen and heard. The 3,000 sq ft cabin was completed in 2012 and is constructed of solid logs. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the ground floor, plus large loft with 2 sofa beds, full bath, and balcony upstairs. The master suite has vaulted ceilings, comfortable king-size bed, walk-in closet and spacious bath with dual sinks, spa tub and glass-enclosed shower. The floors are all solid oak except for the bathrooms which are slate to match the shower/tub surrounds. Kitchen and bath countertops are all slab granite. The kitchen is a chef's dream featuring huge island with farmer's sink; commercial grade 6-burner gas range; double ovens; stainless steel dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator/freezer; and 2 breakfast bars. The laundry room has full-size front-loading Bosch washer and dryer. There is a/c + ceiling fans throughout. In the winter there is heat + efficient fireplace. On the large covered deck is an oversized stainless steel grill with 2 burners + plenty of seating for relaxing and dining. This cabin has everything you'll need, and then some - including belgian waffle maker and Keurig coffee/tea system. Sleeps 6-10. You'll never want to leave!

Just completed in 2012, hardly used, and never rented until now. We built this as our vacation home. We aren't able to use it as much as we had hoped so we've decided to offer it for lease to well-qualified, caring tenants. It's available short or long term. Loads of flowers bloom in the spring and the leaves change colors in the fall. No other property like this available for rent: newly completed, solid log, 3,000 sq ft, on nearly 10 acres. The ultimate vacation destination, any time of year.

Surrounded by tall pines - including some very old alligator pines - as well as beautiful oak trees, you'll feel like you're in the middle of the forest. We have camped in the Happy Jack area for a couple of years now and love how close it is from Phoenix and how quickly we can escape the heat to the beautiful and cool Arizona woods. However, with a new baby and a busy schedule we decided to treat ourselves to a luxury cabin retreat instead. And a treat it was! The home is warm and inviting and the owners have thought of everything. Our boys, 6 and 8 played chess on the chess table and spent hours on the tire and rope swings while the adults sipped wine, took in the view and enjoyed the quiet from the wrap-around porch. The amenities are top notch, from comfy beds to beautiful decor and furnishings! The kitchen is delightful to cook in with every need considered. We also fully enjoyed our quickly caffeinated mornings helped on by the Keurig machine. We were able to fully relax and enjoy our visit with family and hope to return again very, very soon!

Thanksgiving 2012

My family and my sister went and spent Thanksgiving in this beautiful log cabin. We had an amazing dinner with all the top of the line appliances and every pot and pan you can think of. The kitchen was fully equipped. Words can't describe what a wonderful time we had. The home has a great cabin feeling, very cozy, and open floor plan. We already booked it for the New Year!!! The lakes are gorgeous and fishing is great. We definitely will be regulars, we feel like it's our home too. Thank you Oliver and Kelly for letting us into your beautiful home. Merry Christmas :)

Beautiful Luxury Cabin in the Woods

Our family loved every minute of our week long stay in this beautifully appointed cabin in the woods. The gourmet kitchen came fully stocked for easy eating in. Bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. Baths were spotlessly clean and linens were new and plush. Our little guys claimed the loft as their own private hideaway for gaming and nature watching and were thrilled to spot elk meandering through the yard after an afternoon rain. We hiked the woods and canyons, visited the nearby lakes and natural wonders, then returned back to this wonderful cabin to play baseball until dusk followed by board games until late in the evening. We all agreed that we absolutely must book this cabin next year and repeat our fabulous adventure.

Beautiful cabin, top of the line appliances, hi ceilings, we loved staying here - it was remote but still had the luxuries we would expect at a 5 star hotel. The property is very private. We could watch the hummingbirds off the porch, squirrels, etc! Highlights included the tasteful decor, it was clean, everything was fully functional, a/c, ceiling fans throughout the house and on the porch, loved having the direct tv, grilling on the big beautiful grill on the porch, open kitchen, lakes nearby, hiking with our dogs... It was by far the nicest cabin we could find anywhere. Would absolutely rent again.. Perfect for a couple who want to get away but still would like some nice amenities and not necessarily be "roughing it". Cant really say enough about how great our overall experience was!
