Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed, 1.25 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

Ski 300yds along groomed trail to SUN VALLEY's RIVER RUN GONDOLA. Walk to town 4 blocks, FREE BUS Stops in front of condo to take you and skis anywhere in Resort area including Dollar Mountain SNOWBOARD PARK. FREE concerts, ICESKATING, restaurants etc. This unit is in the heart of all these activities. (CHECK OUR REVIEWS) This is a COZY, large one bedroom condo with perfect location if you are coming to Sun Valley to enjoy and be part of nature and the many outdoor year round sports the area has to offer. The unit is exceptionally clean, comfortable and well cared for, with large opened up kitchen/living room which provides lots of natural light. It is perfect for 2, but will sleep 4 privately with new sofa sleeper. This condo is located on the East side of building providing privacy and away from the parking lot noise. Private deck equiped with table, chairs, and small BBQ. All kitchen and linen supplies are provided, as well as necessary paper goods. Separate locked storage room has access from your unit (or outside front door) for skis,sports equipment, suitcases etc. Visitors are pleased with the warm, comfortable feel of this unit, as well as it's perfect location, not only for sports, but also shopping or in-town activities like galleries, groceries, restauarants, movie theater.

While a car is recommended to enjoy out of town activities, it is not a necessity because of the condo location and free bus (which will even transport your bike or skis). Bus stop just next door. From the condo you have immediate access to the paved bike path which becomes the groomed ski trail 300 yards (3-4 min) to the main access point of Sun Valley's Bald Mountain with the new Gondola service which operates summer and winter. This means walk, bike or put on your nordic or down hill skis just outside your front door and in less than 5 minutes you're at River Run- Bald Mt main base. After a day of skiing, the shared winter hot tub is also just outside your door. The shuttle bus will take you to the Sun Valley Lodge for dining, shopping, or ice skating or to other bike/golf/ski areas including the new WHITE CLOUDS GOLF COURSE, Dollar Mt for the Ski and Snow Board School and tubing hill, or the Nordic Ski/Golf center.

In summer, the immediate access to the paved bike path is safe for walking or road biking, and perfect for children on miles of paved trails. You can walk to River Run for quick hikes, take the summer lift up Bald Mountain for lunch, hiking, or ride down the 28 miles of single track mountain bike trails. A short distance on the paved path will take you to a huge variety of all levels of mountain bike/hiking trails throughout the Sun Valley area or beyond. The BIG WOOD RIVER FOR FISHING is parallel to much of the bike path, so is a 5 min walk from your front door. SILVER CREEK world famous fishing is a 30-40 min drive south of the unit.

Throughout the year the area hosts both free and inexpensive music concerts, the Sun Valley Symphony, lectures, films, Arts and Crafts Festivals, Antique shows, farmer's markets, Jazz Festival, and other diverse cultural events, all within minutes of the condo.

Rates are negotiable depending on season and length of stay. Long term welcome..

About JANET

I had been coming to Sun Valley from Salt Lake City for 20 years and was never ready to go home when my vacation was over. I began staying longer and longer at a time, until I found the perfect location and affordability to purchase a small condo so I couldo spend more time in the valley. This area became my permanent home in 2006 and I later purchased a home to accommodate my wonderful grandchildren.

This unit was perfectly located for all the outdoor activities we came to Sun Valley for as well as the in-town amenities. I used it for my family because I lived next door. I get a little twinge of excitement, yet comfort each time I drive over Timmerman Hill and down into the Wood River Valley, and am always grateful I am so lucky to live in this valley.

Free bus stops in front of building next door to take you throughout the valley so a car is not a necessity. Swimming at condo unit is outdoor and summer only. Fitness centers/gym in Ketchum have short term memberships available. New YMCA (5 minutes away by bus or car) includes indoor swimming and water park year around for all ages, and provides free child care for young children while adults using the facility. Excellent gym and many classes available including yoga or personal trainers.

Great Ski Condo

We enjoyed a wonderful long ski weekend in this condo. Janet met us the morning we arrived. The condo was clean and had everything we needed- cable, wi fi, lots of space and light. We were able to ski over to the River Run lift in less than five minutes. This is perfect for couples or family of four that want easy access to the lifts and a short walk to town for dinner or groceries. No need for a car if you are flying in and out of Sun Valley.

Perfect Location!

We stayed at the condo for the week leading up to New Years Eve and had a blast. The condo is nicely taken care of, clean, and located basically halfway between the lift to Baldy, and downtown - an easy walk to either. Nice neighborhood, clean condo, accommodating owner - overall it was perfect for our use.

Cute and cozy.

We had a wonderful time in this unit. Once we arrived, we didn't use the car one time. The unit was close enough to walk or bike into town. It was fun watching the parasailers land just up the hill and the bike path was so close. The condo was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There was minimal neighbor noise. And the hot tub is almost outside the door. The owner was nice and responded quickly to any requests we made. Hope we can come back soon!!

Thanks for a great time in Ketchum!

We stayed here for a few nights in September and loved it! It's a spacious and quiet condo, with a pleasant patio in the back, and an easy 5-10 min. walk into town. It's also right off the paved bike path that runs below Bald Mt., which provides great access to a network of singletrack mountain bike trails (Cold Springs, Warm Springs and River Run). The Bald Mt. trail is also just a few minutes away, which is apparently a good/steep hike to the summit, starting just behind River Run Lodge. The hot was always hot and clean. The unit also has wireless internet which is a plus.

Overall, no complaints at all. We'll definitely be staying again next year! Thanks, Janet.

We had a very pleasant stay at this condo. It was cool and nice in the summer, well-located and the owner was nice to work with.
It was clean. The beds were fine. It was well-equipped and well-maintained. The sleeper sofa was fairly comfortable. It was very near the bike path, para glider landing area and a ski area. It was near the river, which was nice. Parking was easy and the kids loved the pool. Laundry was close by. It was safe and quiet in the summer. It was also walking distance from town.
I would gladly stay there again.
