On Mykonos island within walking distance of the village of Ano Mera, on the tranquil hilly interior, lies this traditional, over a century old stone house with its typical for the island cubic shape and white and pastel color.

Fully equipped, It is beautifully and traditionally decorated with old pieces of furniture. Typical for the age of the house are its thick (60cm/24inches) walls which are made of granite stone as well as the wooden high ceilings. All this gives you a feeling of deep calmness and coziness. The house consists of 2/3 bedrooms, living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a mezzanine. Due to the building’s position on the hill, the rooms are spread over different levels and linked with two to three stony steps. It has two fire places and due to its bioclimatic effect there is no need to use an A/C. The house has a beautiful garden and its surrounded by a lovely old stone wall
The Rock Garden: The house has a dramatically wild romantic rock garden with 3 terraces, many local flowers, plants, an olive tree, a fig tree and a pergola. There you can sit and enjoy your tea in the peacefulness of the countryside, from where your view will stray over the open wide fields, while the rays of the sun make their way through the leaves to tickle your skin and a gentle breeze takes over the smells of the country and makes them dance around your nose. Or you can invite your friends over for a stylish barbecue under the moonlight and the stars.
The Surroundings: The House is strategicaly situated, only few minutes walk from the picturesque village of Ano Mera, with its
historic and oldest Monastery of the island, with restaurants, taverns, supermarket, bakery, pharmacy etc.
An open air market on Sundays, offers you a choice of local products, fresh fruit and vegetables, goat cheese,
mediterranean spices, eggs, fresh fish and lobsters.
There is no real need of a car. A short bus ride of 15 min. from the nearby bus stop, takes you to Mykonos town and to the old pictureque port. You reach the most of the southern, most beautiful, both sandy and stony
Beaches, with crystal clear waters, within a shorter bus/car ride of approximately five to ten minutes. Alternatively, you may rent a car or motorbike for total flexibility.
