Blue Ridge Mountain North Carolina getaway in elegance. Get away in style in the mountains of North Carolina with over 5000 square feet of living area, for less per night than it would cost you to get hotel rooms in town! The privacy and views are phenomenal. Plus, you get seven private bedrooms, three and a half total bathrooms, full service kitchen, TV in great room with cable, and a huge recreation room.

This property has everything you and your guests need to vacation in style in estate quality comfort. The views are phenomenal, the stars at night are brilliant. There is plenty of parking and there and many rooms for large groups to gather; the formal living room has access to a large deck for entertaining, the huge great room, or the formal dining room with a table that seats 8-10 comfortably are ideal for accommodating groups...or just enjoy the luxury for a few good friends.

There is enough space to either come together for family/group fun or split up and pursue your own activities.

There is a master suite on the main level with a king bed. There are three bedrooms upstairs, two of which have queen beds and the third has a daybed that can be set up as a king or split into two twins. In the finished basement there are three more bedrooms, one of which has a daybed with the same possibilities as the one upstairs. There is a king bed and queen bed. Not all bedrooms are demonstrated in accompanying photos due to the limited number of photos allowed.

This home is in the charming town of Black Mountain, NC. Be close (10-15 mins)to all that Asheville has to offer and 2 minutes away from amenities of Black Mountain (Great restaurants, active music scene, cute shops, new grocery store, Yoga studio, Cheshire Fitness & Racquet Club where there is an indoor pool, tennis courts and full gym, etc.) Great hikes can be found very close by.

Be close to nature and all amenities simultaneously. High speed internet/ wireless internet access in place.

Lake James and Lake Lure are close. Skiing at Wolf Laurel is 35 minutes away. If you are looking for a place to retreat to with family, friends or coworkers in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this is it!

We lived in this house for 3 years before moving to a property with more land. We loved living in this home and miss it. However, we have found that there is a demand for vacation properties in Black Mountain. This house is in a super convenient location and is great for vacation rental. We care for the home ourselves and have furnished it and decorated it lovingly. We hope that you will enjoy your stay with us! Come be our guest!

The house is located 1.5 miles from Interstate 40 in Black Mountain. The house is in a private neighborhood on the side of a mountain and there are beautiful mountain views. The neighborhood setup is such that each house has privacy. No two homes are alike. There is easy access to the house as roadways are paved up to the concrete driveway. Convenience of a huge flagship Ingles grocery store is less than a mile away. Artisan Gourmet & Wine Shop is a third of a mile away. The town of Black Mountain and its many restaurants is 2 miles away. Ridgecrest and Montreat are 5miles away. Asheville, with all it has to offer, is 15-20 minutes away. You will have convenience, privacy and elegance when you stay here.

Other Activities: shopping, basketball court, kayaking, wildlife viewing, health/beauty spa, hot air ballooning, racquetball, minature golf

Golf: Black Mountain Golf Course is a public course but is one of the most beautiful and challenging while being reasonably priced. A nice surprise for golfers!

Ski: Wolf Laurel is 35 minutes away and Maggie Valley is 50 minutes.

Comfortable stay for a large crowd

We had a group of 14 stay in this comfortable home. The owners were very responsive and the house was well stocked. I liked that there were several gathering areas and the kitchen was large enough to have several people working in it and opened to a living area which made it the hub of our vacation. My only tip would to bring your own pillow as some of the ones on the bed in my room were just OK. We were minutes away from Black Mountain which is a great little town. Hiking in Montreat and Catawba Falls is less then 10 min away and downtown Asheville was only 20 min or so. We truly loved our stay and hope to make it a yearly event.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Wonderful house for a family gathering in a beautiful setting

We rented this house for family gathering for a wedding in the area and it was fabulous. Family members continue to rave about how nice the accommodations were months later. It has a very open layout and multiple living areas that are really conducive to socializing.

With many options to choose from in the area, I am confident that we made the absolute right choice and will likely be return visitors.

Wonderful 4-Day Weekend with Friends

Everything about this home was wonderful. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. The home was nicely stocked with everything we could have needed. The mountain views and fall foliage was amazing and the yard was perfect for the kids. Our group consisted of 5 couples and 9 children (all under the age of 6). We were ALL very comfortable, slept well and no one had to take a cold shower. The little town was very cute and close by. Ingles is right down the road and there is lots to do close by.
We look forward to visiting here again next fall!
