Newly remodeled 1000 Square foot, 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath home just blocks away from Beach, Movie Theatre, Pier, Downtown restaurants and the train station to San Diego.

Completely fenced lot, fully equipped kitchen with HD television in living room. Bedrooms equipped with Queen Size beds, with Queen futon in the living area. Quiet street with fenced yard.

Enjoy a comfortable vacation, great year-round weather and lots of entertainment locally. Perfect for Snowbirds and family getaway. Small dogs OK.

About The Owner

We are a small family and live in Redlands, CA. We have a 7 year old son and like to spend our free time away at places like our home in Oceanside.

I and my wife both work, I in public affairs and my wife in environmental planning. We like walks on the beach, biking, and hiking.

The Owner purchased this house in 2009
Why The Owner chose Oceanside

We chose to buy our home in Oceanside because of its location near the beach, the pier, and the downtown. We restored this home originally built in 1926, to maintain its character and also provide all the amenities we are used too.

We are located near Legoland, which also has a great aquarium and water park. We are also located near the train station which provides easy car-free access to San Diego including the Gas Lamp District, Old Town and stadiums for both Padres and Chargers games.

Oceanside has great beaches, surfing, restaurants, and entertainment...all within short walking distance from our home.

We are fortunate to have found our dream house.

What makes this house unique

As mentioned before, we are only minutes walk away from beautiful beaches and the downtown, including a movie theatre. We are far enough away though that we do not get ANY of the foot traffic.

Our favorite walk is down to Maui Waui's where we order coffee for ourselves and hot cocoa for our son.

There are no major streets between our home and the beach which makes it safe to bike with our son down to the Strand.

Wonderful Vacation Rental!

Could not have been happier with our stay. We came from Alb. NM to vacation with my family as well as my parents. The house was absolutey perfect! We had everything we needed. Loved having a kitchen to cook for my girls, great patio area, BBQ grill as well as Washer & Dryer. Loved being so close to the beach. Did want to recommend for anyone staying that Oceanside has a street fair Thursday nights downtown with food, music and stands that local business owners sell there items. My entire family enjoyed it very much!!! We plan to come back and to recommend it to any of our frieds/family that plan to visit this area.

It was a nice cozy home to stay in, clean, great location. We kept the house clean and he never refunded our deposit even after I emailed him several times. He could have at least emailed me back with a reason, but did not.
Owner's Response: Yes, we remember this tenant. The Oceanside Police Department had to respond due to noise complaints. The tenant had neighborhood males sleeping over. The house reeked of marijuana, which we also found onsite, and we received complaints from the neighbors.

We have had many great tenants, and only a few who created such problems. We strive to be a pleasing, family friendly, party-within-reason vacation rental.

The house had everything we needed but scissors. Enjoyed our stay just wish we had stayed longer a week is never long enough! Neil stopped by during our stay to dropped off 2 bike but we didn't get the chance to use them because it was at the end of our stay. I am looking forward to staying again real soon. The only complaint my husband had was the FLIES they were outta control outside not in the house! Think it was due to the fruit trees and humidity this year. Their were no flies in the backyard. The weather has been crazy everywhere. The beds were very comfortable slept thru the nights no problem. I brought way more then I needed to He has everything their for the beach plenty of chairs beach towels even aloe for the after burn! Anyway pack LIGHT! Oh and the smaller unit in the back is AWESOME!! Way cute and has everything also

A Perfect Vacation!

We were in Ocean side Visiting our Marine from Camp Pendleton who just came back from Afganistan and everything was amazing.. When you are on vacation and you dont think about the place your at, the beds you sleep in, and the area your at then you know everything is perfect. It was all the comforts of home but better. The accommodations were above my expectations. There was never a want for anything.

The house was very well cared for, the kitchen is insane I mean top notch appliances for in a vacation unit is not easy to find! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were more comfortable than mine at home! A nice private back patio WITH A GRILL! Easy access to stores was easy and close by. Did I mention that bikes were provided for a cruise on the beach?

The beach is a couple blocks away which was better than being in beach traffic honestly. The owner is a very respectful and attentive person, you will not be disatisfied with his communication.

I may sound like I am selling this unit for rent myself but, I firmly believe whn you find something worth its weight in gold you should give it credit for what it is.

You stay here is worth the money, trust me we will be returning many times over!
