The best ski rental cabin I have ever had!

For over 30 years, I have rented ski cabins in Whistler BC, Sunriver OR, Steamboat CO, and the Tahoe area. This is by far the best cabin I have ever had. At first I was a bit taken aback by the price of the rental and the steep cleaning fee. In the end, it was so worth it. The place is new, and was unfinished when we rented. The drawer pulls had not been installed in any of the rooms, the meeting room was not complete, but these were minor details. The house was absolutely wonderful for adults and children. The kids took the uppermost room. There was a queen size bed in one bedroom, a pullout bed in the living area with a fireplace. This upper room had it's own kitchenette. The kids 8, 8, 9, 10, 10, 10 took food upstairs and made and even cleaned this area up by themselves. We didn't even have to encourage it! They had all their meals up there. We didn't see them for hours at a time. Nice to know our kids were responsible for their own area. The rest of the house was so luxurious. The steam/sauna area, the movie theatre, the Irish bar. We all enjoyed the large kitchen and common area. There really is nothing lacking in this house. Oh and the steep cleaning fee? So worth it. Most places have you take out the garbage, strip the bed, start the laundry, etc and they still charge you $200-300. This place asked for none of it! Imagine just packing your bags and leaving the place as is, not that we are slobs, but it was a very nice feature. The property really is the best. If your family has intermediate or advance skiers, skip Tahoe Donner and drive to Northstar, Alpine Meadows or Squaw Valley.
