Other near by fun places to visit. (some of these parks are up to 2 hours away, but great spots to go if your staying for a few days or more) If you got the time don’t miss out on going to Hershey Park! This is a must do, you will not be disappointed. The roller coasters are big and fast, the Boardwalk water park is amazing, its full of attractions for the little ones and its one of the cleanest, nicest parks I have ever seen. Plus you can see how they make the Great American chocolate bar and all the Hershey candy at Chocolate World located right there at the park. You can also go to Konobles Amusement Park which was rated best amusement park food in the entire country or visit Dorney Park another great roller coaster park. If you want to see some of the best nature views in the Pocono’s visit Bushkill Falls 'The Niagara of PA' Here you will find beautiful trails you can hike with views of the falls, places to eat, miniature golf, gold mining for the kids and lots of other fun filled activities.

Some very important misc. notes: Please do not bring any kind of DJ music equipment to this house. You will be asked to leave if there is excessively loud music playing and no refund will be issued! This house is not for you to run wild and cause damage to the house if you plan on doing that please do not rent this house! If you are looking for a perfect house do not rent this house! This is a rental house and we do our best to keep it as nice as possible. If you are going to come here and knit pick every tiny little detail please do not rent this house! We are constantly re-painting and repairing the house and its a beautiful place to stay but do not expect something brand new!!!!! All floors are cleaned with a no rinse cleaner, the reason for this is it leaves a nice clean fresh sent and the floors are not slippery. We have had guests complain because they say the floors are to slippery and have fallen. So now this no rinse formula leaves a stickiness to it and gives the floors extra traction. So if you do not like sticky floors please do not rent this house! Please keep in mind this house is in the country!!!!! Its a huge house in the mountains. When you are staying there and if you leave the doors and windows open like most guests do, expect to have flying insects flying in. You may even see a mouse! If you are afraid of possibly seeing a mouse, please do not rent this house! Again we do our very best but we cannot control guests who leave doors and windows open all day long. I think that is rude to do because it is not their house and its extremely costly to do with all the A/C's and heat running. If you are a clean 'freak' please do not rent this house! This is an extremely large house and its a rental!!!!! We have many, many, many, guests who absolutely love to stay and return every year. Our website keeps track of how many people who are interested in staying and as of 6/1/12 we are at 50,000. This is a great place to stay but please do not rent this house if you are looking for some thing perfectly clean and all furnishing new. If you want that go some place else please! You are more then welcome to come and view the house prior to your booking, in fact I recommend that. We will not issue refund because there is something you do not like! There is no guarantee that every single item in house will be working. There is no refund of any kind if something is not working! Again we do our best to keep everything up and running but sometimes things are beyond our control. If something does break or go wrong we have a 24 hour 7 days a week phone # you can call and some one will come over to see if the problem can be solved. Again its a great place to come and have fun and visit all of the nearby attractions but I cannot stress enough this is a rental property do not expect everything perfect. There are no refunds because there is something you do not like!!!!!!! Also if something is not the same as the photos or description on the advertising site there is no refund. We have the right to change items in our home at any given time. Its a shame we get a few guests who will try anything to get money back so this is why I’m telling you all of this information. If you want to be sure ask questions, I will be happy to spend as much time as needed on the phone or in person to answer any question you may have. I'm probably the only one on the Homeway.com web site who is telling you this type of information as others will try and hide these facts. Another note to mention. 2 of the 8 bedrooms have a common walk way through them. You can shut doors to these rooms but if you want to travel from one end of the house to the other you will have to walk through these 2 bedrooms. They used to be attached garages which we have now turned into 2 bedrooms. I would call them more of an sleeping area rather then a bedroom due to the fact you have a common walkway. Although the doors can be shut and then some one can knock before entering. Again please if you have any questions please call me.
