Welcome to Lago de la Luna, the High Sierra & Yosemite's premiere vacation home rental!

Lago de la Luna is the premier vacation home in the High Sierra & Yosemite area! It boasts 50 acres of private land with a 4000 square feet home perch atop a hill overlooking the private 10-acre lake. Lago de la Luna has been the host for many events such as summer vacations, family reunions, and its share of weddings and receptions.

The best feature of Lago de la Luna is obviously it's private 10-acre lake. Come and enjoy your own fishing hole that is privately held by the owner of Lago de la Luna. Only the owners and their guests are allowed access to this water which means you could be the only one fishing this majestic water. The best catch so far has been a 19' BASS from a friend in Argentina, who is going to beat this record?

There are so many activities you can do without having to leave the premises! From swimming (in the pool or in the lake??), fishing, hiking, riding, or playing horseshoes there are so many things for everyone to enjoy while having the privacy for your own party!!

Lago de la Luna is a split tri-level home that is approximately 4000 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 3 baths. It posseses amenities such as a large media room, two levels of outdoor decking, a large dining room table, custom-built fireplace, volleyball pool, jetted hot tub, horseshoe pit, and views of the water from every single room. The master bedroom is tucked downstairs with an access to the lower and larger deck. The master bath has a great jetted spa tub that overlooks the lake. The media room is equipped with the latest gear such as a 55'' 1080p LED TV, Blu-Ray DVD Player, and High-Def satellite for the ultimate viewing pleasure in Lago de la Luna. There are two levels of decking in the back of the home that has hosted wedding ceremonies for those interested in intimate settings. Lago de la Luna is definitely about family and fun especially with the pool and hot tub conveniently located next to the house.

Refreshing Mountain Stay

We spent a week at Lago de la Luna and had a wonderful time. The home was comfortable, spacious, well equipped, and had a fantastic view of the private lake. We enjoyed wonderful hikes within a short drive and fun bike rides in the surrounding neighborhood and forest service roads nearby. The view of the lake and mountains was spectacular from the deck and it had a good get-away feel, yet the home was only a few minutes from the stores in town. A great blend of outdoor, country enjoyment, and in-town convenience. The owner was a gracious host and we felt welcomed. We plan to return.

Great Family House

My family vacationed at Lago de la Luna for four days and had a wonderful time. The home is spacious and clean, and its setting in the woods is very peaceful. We enjoyed our meals on the beautiful deck... making it difficult to get up and wash dishes! :-) We docked our boat at Bass Lake which was close by, convenient and affordable.
EJ & Mark are wonderful hosts and I can't express enough how accommodating they are to any travelers needs. My only complaint is ~ I wish we booked it longer!

We had a great time! Conveniently located to Yosemite, which we visited ONCE during our stay. Great view of the lake from every room. The patio deck was the most frequented space in the entire home. Special touches throughout the home, everything you could possibly need. Everyone wanted to come back again.

Breathtaking Home

Our stay at Lago de la Luna was perfect. The home is as beautiful as the pictures. There is so much to see throughout the property we would notice something new every day. We felt fortunate to be there sitting outside in the hot tub with the view of the private lake. We felt so much peace and relaxation. The owners were very accommodating and extremely nice to work with. We would absolutely recommend staying at this beautiful home! We hope to return again some day.

We're a group of friends traveling through California and it was a delight to stay here!! The house is in excellent condition with all the modern amenities you need to use the home properly. LED TV's throughout the house. More than enough pots & pans in the kitchen. That dining table is really cool - it was huge and a great place for people to gather.

Best part of the property would have to be location. When we first arrived, we wondered where the house could be driving through a neighborhood. But then all of a sudden we hit this gravel road and there's no house in sight but we pull up to a circle driveway 2 minutes later and find ourselves secluded with peace & quiet. The great thing though is the center of town is still only 10 minutes away. If you get a chance, visit Bass Lake! WOW!!
