Dream Come True is an oceanfront, charming villa located twenty feet above the Caribbean in a quiet and picturesque cove known as Devers Bay on the south shore of St. John in Chocolate Hole. Only a handful of homes on this bay has allowed it to retain it's natural beauty, serenity, and privacy. The warm waters below are accessed by gradual, concrete steps with railings and the waters offer abundant snorkeling adventures, swimming opportunities and beachcombing. A hallmark of Dream Come True is its breathtaking ocean views from all areas and rooms. The lapping of the gentle waves enhances the relaxation experience. Shops, restaurants and the nightlife of Cruz Bay are only a three mile drive on paved roads.

Two master bedrooms, each with a private bath, and outdoor showers are located on the first level along with the kitchen, Great Room, and powder room. The third master bedroom has the same ocean views and dimensions of the other two masters. It has its own bathroom and private deck, and an indoor shower. All rooms have tiled floors and the exterior is bounded by native, stone walls. To ensure privacy, the always-warm pool, hot tub and sun deck are located on the upper level and have been placed on the west end of the villa, while the bedrooms are on the east end so as to ensure privacy and quiet for the bedrooms. All bedrooms are air conditioned. There are two safes for valuables.

Broadband internet, wi-fi, and two stereos with ipod connectivity are provided. There are binoculars for nature watching and coolers, sand chairs and beach towels for trips to the other beaches. There is a larger screen cable TV, and a DVD player.

All rooms have ceiling fans and sliding glass doors to ensure perfect ocean views from every room.

About The Owner

We are both retired and we love the time we spend on the island. We love to attend the National Park District lectures, and the St. John Historical Society events. It's a wonderful, perfect place to share with our family and friends.

The Owner purchased this villa in 2004
Why The Owner chose Chocolate Hole

After an extensive search in many places, we found this perfect bay on St. John in 1996 and knew we had found our Dream Come True. We began to build in 2002 and it was finished in 2004. We had rented other properties for decades and we tried to incorporate the best ideas that we had found into our new home.

What makes this villa unique

We have a perfectly private bay, however, we are very close to town and shops. You can sit on the decks and just relax while listening to the water. We are twenty steps from the water and we take advantage of the snorkeling and swimming every day that we can. We both love to cook, and we have stocked the kitchen with everything a cook would need. The house affords great walking opportunities.

This is our first visit to St. John. I am here now listening to the waves and looking out at the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The house is well-appointed and beautifully decorated. Being the owner of a vacation rental home myself, i appreciate the details to guest comforts which the owners have taken. We have enjoyed snorkeling in the bay, swimming in the pool, luxurious outdoor showers, and the tranquility of the nature in this special place. We had a great time on a Bad Kitty catamaran tour to other islands in BVI, but we also have enjoyed days where we never left this awesome spot. The Internet has also been very reliable...useful for posting this review! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful Home and Location with Breathtaking Views. We would definitely stay here again.

The listing description of this property is more than accurate. We were so happy with this beautiful Villa and the photos did accurately reflect this property, acutally it is so much more beautiful in person. The home is located in the center of a very private bay and breathtaking views of the ocean and other islands can be seen from all rooms and deck and pool area. This Villa is very tastefully decorated and has been well cared for and maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need, the great room and all the bedrooms are all comfortable and also provide you with everything you need. The salt water pool and hot tub also provide the spectacular views while you are in them. The pool water was always a very comfortable temperature. The location of this home is perfect as you are high enough to enjoy the comfortable ocean breezes, but low enough to walk just a few stairs down to the private bay of the ocean and it is shared by only a few other homes. We hardly ever saw anyone on the private beach while we were there. The ocean water is warm and the snorkeling was great in the bay. The owner did leave a very helpful book of tips for naviagating your way around the home and the Island. It is centrally located to downtown Cruz Bay and many of the beaches and attractions and restaurants are very short drive from this property. We really enjoyed visiting Trunk Bay and the snorkeling is spectacular there as well. The restaurants we would recommend would be the Lime Inn and Margarita Phils. Although many of the restaurants were good. Ronnie's Pizza was great for ordering in. My husband and I had a wonderful time and will definitely plan on staying here again in the future.
