Gorgeous Open Concept Waterfront Home On Private Sandy Beach

Shawnee and Doug's home exceeded our expectations. Arriving late on a foggy Friday night after a 12hr drive it was very comforting to find our temporary home exactly as described. Even better was the fact that it was very clean and tastefully furnished and decorated so that we immediately felt at home. AND, we could clearly hear the sound of the waves from the beach below. Our boys essentially had their own apartment on the lower level and they were pleased to find internet and satellite tv. The beds were nicer than at home, especially with the excellent linens provided. The bathrooms are large, perfectly arranged and also with excellent linens. The main floor master bedroom and ensuite are large and open with lots of closet space and several windows and doors to fill the rooms with fresh air and the sounds of the waves. The private deck off the master is a very nice touch. The kitchen was very well equipped and stocked. The entire main floor with the living and dining areas and main deck are spacious, open and have a warm feel. And the view of the water is beautiful. There was more than enough outdoor furniture provided for both the decks and the beach. The beach was easy to access and was so pleasant, we spent almost all of our beach time there, even though New River Beach was only a 5 minute walk away. The kayaking and biking was tremendous and there was an abundance of wildlife including deer, seals and birds of every sort. And the convenience of having everything nearby was a bonus. The blueberry stand is only about 7min west. Smiths and Comeaus restaurants are only about 10min west in Pennfield. There are small grocery marts at the gas stations in either Lepreau 10min east or Pennfield 10min west. St George is an interesting town about 15min west where there is Terry the butcher for great meat, the Four C's Market for fresh seafood, an NB Liquor outlet, all the other stores we needed, a golf course and the freshwater Lake Utopia with a nice beach. We had no need to travel any further for supplies or activities. We would highly recommend this home for a great Fundy Bay vacation.
