AFFORDABLE GUEST CASITA IN RIO VERDE

We spent a month in the casita and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Pat and Ken are very accommodating and helpful. The scenery is awesome and the trails for biking are excellent. The casita was well equiped and very clean. It was a good as we expected and would return to the casita if in the area again.

My wife and I just returned from a 2 week stay at this lovely Casita accomadation. We had an absolutely fabulous 2 week stay, the owners Ken and Pat were very helpful with local knowledge of golf courses/deals, local hiking and biking trails, etc, etc. It was like having our own courtyard with pool and hot tub as we rarely seen the owners throughout our visit. The accomadation is set up very well with a comfortable indoor bedroom and sitting area, complete with flat screen TV and an amazing cable package. A large attached tiled bathroom with a huge tub and shower and for us the best part of all was the outdoor covered kithen and living room c/w another TV mounted above the kithen area, 2 eating tables with 4 chairs, an awesome Jennair gas grill (my favorite kithen feature) 2 comfy couches and a coffee table to enjoy the morning sun with your coffee before heading out for that morning Tee time. The outdoor kithen and living area is equipped with 2 large space heaters for those cooler evenings (we never needed them as the weather was awesome for our 2 weeks) The indoor bedroom/sitting room and bathroom are air conditioned for those hot afternoons when you need a break from the pool deck lounge chairs and the afternoon Arizona sun. The hot tub has a Shiatsu neck massage feature that my wife (a registered Shiatsu therapist) found very useful after numerous rounds of golf during our stay. Overall we rate this accomadation very highly and if you have not explored the North East portion of the valley, give Rio Verde a try, the golf courses are challenging, yet affordable, the Parks and trails are spectacular and if you want shopping/restaurant options, Fountain Hills is only 15 mins South and North Scottsdale 15 mins West from Rio Verde.

We spent a month at the Casita in Rio Verde and had a great time! Ken and Pat are wonderful hosts and very accomodating. The location was excellent for our needs and close to a number of activities and fine dining opportunities.
The outdoor cooking area was awesome and met all our needs. We would definitely go there again.
