Charming and private Santa Monica home with large pool in beautiful garden in the most exclusive area: 'North of Montana Avenue'. Three blocks from beautiful Montana Avenue with its lovely cafes, boutiques and restaurants. Minutes from the beach, Third Street Promenade, restaurants and shopping. Visit Disneyland, Universal Studios, Six Flags and San Diego. Drive to Mexico or San Francisco!

Fully and elegantly furnished with wonderful antiques. Available short or long term. Hedged and private from the street with ample grassy front and side yards. There are three complete bedrooms, master suite with kingsize bed and en suite bathroom, bedroom with queen size bed and large adjacent bathroom, bedroom with full size bunkbeds and adjacent bathroom. There is a newly renovated T.V.room/library with large flatscreen t.v., cable, HBO on demand etc, with a custom built brand new sofa that comfortably sleeps one adult. Also comfortable extra bed in downstairs computer room available on request. Lovely living room and separate dining room. Housekeeper once a week included.

Guesthouse has brand new renovated living room wit downstairs, 2 additional bedrooms, one large with kingsize bed and extra single, one medium with queensize, bathroom with sauna that opens on to pool.

Charming house in quiet neighborhood

We were a family of seven and loved the house. It's really two houses, so there is a lot of room for everybody to have privacy. The yard has lots of flowers, visited by humming birds. The pool was very nice and we paid a small premium to have it heated. Lilian, the housekeeper, was very charming and helpful. The neighborhood is very quiet.

Best vacation our family has ever had!

This was a beautiful home in Santa Monica. My husband, 3 kids and I stayed here for a week in August. We loved taking walks around the lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed the firepit at night, which the owner provided wood and firestarters for. I loved relaxing on a chaise while having a glass of wine and watching the kids play in the pool. We enjoyed the cozy TV room for watching the Olympics. The beds were very comfortable and everyone loved the down comforters. I loved walking to the stores on Montana Ave. The proximity to the beach and hiking was very convenient. The kitchen had every amenity. The master bathroom had a double sink. The owner offered us beach towels and chairs and she was completely accommodating and helpful. We hope to stay here again next summer!!

Great property! Had an amazing time.

We ended up renting the property for a week from the owner, Caroline, for a wedding. I was uneasy about wiring money to a stranger, so Caroline met up with a relative and they toured the property together which put my mind at ease. The property worked out VERY well. While the other guests stayed at a hotel, our rental home became the go to place. We had more than a few barbeques and easily entertained 20+ people. The garden is huge and has several separate sections. Both the kids and adults loved the pool! While the kitchen appliances are dated, everything worked without a problem. There are 3 bedrooms (a HUGE master upstairs, a large bedroom downstairs, and a room with bunks) and several rooms for entertaining. Although she was traveling internationally, Caroline (the owner) was very responsive to any inquiries we had. Checking out was a breeze. Unlike a hotel with a noon checkout, Caroline let us leave according to our schedule. I really liked this house and am very glad we decided to stay here.
