Detroit Lakes Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Cabin, 4 Bedrooms + Office, 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 10-12)
This log home was built in 2005 and is made of half-log pine. At the end of a paved road, it is very quiet with no automobile traffic. It is 3300 square feet on 3 levels with an elevated deck of nearly 1000 square feet. It is on a 1 acre lot with lots of grass, massive oak trees, pine and spruce. The lake is to the south and offers warm summer breezes. It is both a kid's and an adult's paradise.
The water is clean and only chest high 200 feet from our shore.. The beach and lake bottom are sandy. This is the best beach on one of Minnesota's top 5 lakes.
It is our retreat and vacation home.

We have owned this property for 27 years. We rebuilt the cabin from scratch in 2005.
What makes this cabin unique
It is quiet since it is at the end of a paved road. The water and lake bottom are perfect - clean and sandy. The water is shallow - only 3-5 feet deep for the first 200 feet from the shore. The neighbors are great. While there are 1000+ cabins on the lake, it is not busy like a Minneapolis lake. There is great recreation - tubing, skiing, fishing, swimming in the summer and snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter.
