Our beach home has been in our family for over seventy years. We grew up in the Charleston area. My Mom first purchased the unit as beach rental property, then retired in the home in the mid 1990's. I am the second generation owner. Please enjoy our home with your family and friends.
Why they chose this property
My Mom purchased this property in 1948 as a single, twenty year old based on the recommendations of her Pastor. Reverend Pridgen had purchased a beach front home five lots away and felt this would be a great investment. I grew up changing the sheets and mowing the grass every Saturday morning in the summer. My mom rented the home for $75 per week.
What makes this property unique
All windows replaced with impact resistant glass, individual temperature controls for rooms., new entrance door and all new siding (February 2020). Wood flooring in all bedrooms, quiet ceiling fans, red metal roof, re-insulated home.
