GROUND FLOOR; Fully equipped and integrated modern travertine kitchen with dining table for 6 persons. Adjoining is a large living room with open fire place and comfortable seating, satellite TV, DVD, music system, i Pod dock / CD and internet/ email access with WI Fi provided free of charge. The living room leads onto an expansive terrace with table and chairs for 8 guests making it ideal for al fresco dining. There are also reclining chairs for those wishing to enjoy the expansive views of the olive groves, ancient hilltop towns, vineyards and mountains in the distance .
FIRST FLOOR; An internal staircase leads upstairs to 2 large double bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed whilst the second bedroom has twin beds convertible to a king bed. Each bedroom has a walk in wardrobe and ensuite travertine bathroom. The main bathroom has a double basin, shower, bath and toilet. In the second bathroom, there is a basin, shower and toilet.
LOWER GROUND LEVEL; An internal staircase leads to a large double room with ensuite travertine bathroom containing basin, shower and toilet. There is a sofa and wardrobe in this bedroom. The laundry is on this level. There are double doors leading to a private courtyard and lawn to the olive grove.
All bedrooms have side tables with reading lamps and are furnished in country style and antique pieces.
Private garden;
The property is fenced and set amid olive trees, native plants and expansive lawn.
The terrace faces in a southerly direction, and there is an awning which provides good protection from the Tuscan sun.
There is also a secluded and partly shaded garden and lawn facing south east, where you can relax on sun beds or reclining chairs enjoying privacy and tranquility .There is an area for outdoor games for children .
POOL; There is a pathway leading to a large private pool ( 19m x 6 m ). It is only shared with the neighbouring property who does not rent to holiday makers and it is rarely used and never busy. The pool is cleaned regularly. The location is peaceful in an uncontaminated environment with unbrella, sunbeds and reclining chairs provided.
There is available in the Villa a guide of amenities and activities. Personal assistance can be given by the hosts to their guests at their request. There are guidebooks and maps available for your use.
Cappella di Pancole was originally the site of the chapel to the local community and was recently reconstructed into a luxury villa. It comprises locally sourced materials combining timber beams, cotto ceilings and floors with travertine finishes of a typical villa in the area. These materials blend well with modern, stylish appliances and design to create spacious accomodation with the utmost convenience.
The estate is ideally situated to visit the historic culture towns of Siena ( 25 minutes ), Florence ( 1 hour ) and Perugia ( 1 hour ). From Perugia, one can easily reach interesting towns in Umbria such as Assisi, Gubbio, Spello, Spoleto and Todi.
Other well known Tuscan towns are nearby including Arezzo, Cortona and San Gimignano, all about 45 minutes drive. Montepulciano, Montalcino ( home to Brunello wines ) and Pienza ( World heritage listed ) are all about 50 minutes drive. Volterra is about 1 hours' drive and Pisa and Lucca 2 hours away.
Being situated in the Chianti Classico region, there are many good vineyards, picturesque towns and scenery within easy driving distances.
The market town of Castelnuovo Berardenga is close with the choice of supermarkets, local shops, banks, restaurants and medical services. The charming villages of San Gusme, Villa a Sesta and Montebenichi, which all have good restaurants and bars are within 10 minutes drive. The World heritage site of the Crete Senese is only 15 minutes away.
Cappella di Pancole is situated on a 1,100 hectare estate with more than 30 villas and farmhouses dotted amongst nature reseves, vineyards, olives and woodlands. The Tenuta di Villa d'Arceno is a high quality wine producer and exporter. There is an unique feeling of grandeur and serenity about the estate. The main Villa on the estate originates from 17th century, having been owned by an aristocractic Senese family. There are interesting walks and bike riding can be undertaken within the estate .
The estate is situated only 7 ks north of the Siena - Arezzo motorway. The airports of Florence and Perugia are about 75 minutes drive . Pisa and Bologna Airports are about 2 hours by car .
A car is recommended . A driver can be arranged for interesting excursions .
