Great view, great location, great owner, great property

My family of 5 stayed at this home for 7 days. Coming from TX, we didn't know what to expect and had never been to San Diego, but this property looked beautiful online and was reasonably priced. It was great having enough rooms for everyone, plus a spectacular view from Mt. Helix. There are two main highways near which gave you some options for heading toward San Diego or many things to the North. We ventured out every day wtih minimal drives (except LA...which we knew was going to be bad). Kathy could not have been nicer and was very, very easy to work with. She was able to get us in earlier than promised and we were able to stay a bit later as well on our return day. She promptly returned the deposit without any issues. We really enjoyed going to La Jolla, Coronado Island, Legoland, LA for a day, USS Midway Museum, the San Diego Zoo and the Gaslamp area downtown. We had some food allergy issues to deal with, but there was a Whole Foods not too far away and many items we could get from the grocery stores close or Target/Walmart...all very close.
