This 2BR apartment comfortably accommodates a family of four for vacation, wedding, or graduation, but it’s also a perfect getaway for some time out of town. Our guests repeatedly tell us the apartment is bigger in person and that the space looks just like the pictures online.
The apartment is on the second floor of our house, where we live, overlooking Gloucester Harbor. Within the apartment, there are two bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. The master bedroom has a four-poster queen bed, with an extra twin bend and a full bathroom with soaking tub. The second bedroom, off of the living area, has a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower stall. The apartment has its own private entrance. There is off-street parking for up to 3 cars. The open living-dining space has a flat screen TV with cable (HBO, Showtime, Starz, Encore), WiFi, a comfy sofa with coffee table, two over-sized chairs, and a breakfast bar with 4 stools at the kitchen counter. The well-equipped kitchen has an oven/stove, fridge with freezer, coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and full set of dishes, pots & pans, flatware and utensils. If anything is missing, just let us know. We’re right downstairs!
I am Rebecca and I live in the house below the apartment with my retired mother, Dot, (aka 'Gloucester Quilter') who quilts and gardens. One of us is always on hand to attend to any question or concern. In the summer we maintain a vegetable garden and, on the off seasons, we enjoy the sunsets and long walks with our two Labs in the afternoon on Good Harbor Beach or at local woodland trails in Ravenswood or Moraine Farms. We are very knowledgeable about how best to experience the North Shore and day trips in our region and towns across New England.
