Our luxurious stone built Villa Olympia was built in the traditional Cretan style, which means with stones. It was completed in summer 2001 and is located approx. 200 meter over sea level in a quiet residential area, only a few minutes from Rethymno town. There are spectacular views to the sea and the White Mountains. The wonderful sunset in the evening hours is difficult to be described. The villa offers a high living comfort, combined with an unforgettable living atmosphere and a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Due to the ground floor heating it can be rented also in the winter time. There is a swimming pool combined with a small area for children and a whirlpool in the main bathroom. For our guests we have a small library and a stereo with international and Greek CDs. There is also a satellite system, which offers more than 100 different channels and a phone line. On request we organise PC with Internet. 6 years succesful renting is your guarantee of unforgettable holidays!

The village of Prines is a small typical Cretan village, still with its traditional atmosphere but on the other hand not far from tourism (Rethymno can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car). Our guests can find in walking distance: markets, taverns, Kafenions and a post office. The area is ideal for walking trips. The views to the sea and the White Mountains are magnificent. Our clients spend most of their time in this area because they can breathe the ‘Real Crete’ in combination with the luxury standard in our villa.

Air condition is not needed because the temperature inside the villa is always the ideal one in relation to the outside temperature. The villa can also be rented in winter because of the floor ground heating. For romantic winter evenings the open fire place guarantees the right atmosphere.
