KITCHEN HIGHLIGHTS

The fully furnished kitchen features a side-by-side refrigerator equipped with filtered water and ice, ultra-quiet dishwasher, self-cleaning oven, gas range cooktop and a built-in microwave. A cooking island ties the kitchen to the Great Room, with bar stool seating; there is also a built-in desk in the kitchen. The kitchen equipment is complete, with coffee maker, grinder, toaster, blender, Kitchen Aid mixer and garbage disposal. All utensils are available with matching wine glasses and settings sufficient for groups of 12.

LIVING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS

The living room is part of the Great Room with fantastic light and views. A gas fireplace and entertainment center occupy one wall. The 46' HDTV and DVR with DirecTV anchors the entertainment center, complete with surround-sound stereo, Blu-Ray player w/ Internet, CD, VCR and video/audio library. An adjacent dining room with matched seating for 10 adjoins the room. But, if you want to get away from the action here, head upstairs to the separate loft living space to pursue different diversions.

MASTER BEDROOM & BATH HIGHLIGHTS

The master bedroom, on the main floor, features a king-size bed with dual side-tables and lamps and full bedroom set. This bedroom also features a 32' HDTV. All beds (master and guest) are outfitted with high-quality linens and fabrics. If things get too hectic out front, enjoy the space and solitude this room offers.

The Fraser Valley continues from Winter Park northward, encompassing many winter and summer activities. Cross the slight rise at Granby, and you continue north to the lake and town of Grand Lake, with its unique Western riff on Switzerland, and then onward to the western gateway for Rocky Mountain National Park.

We are a professional family from Iowa who has been coming to Winter Park for more than a decade for outdoor activities.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2011

Why The Owner chose Winter Park

Our kids learned to ski in Montana, and we have skied many places across the West. Friends and great annual lift pass deals first brought us to Winter Park; we fell in love and have continued to come back.

As our children have grown, we decided to make Winter Park a permanent destination for family reunions and get-togethers. We are happy to share our home with you and hope to see many repeat visits!

What makes this townhome unique

We inspected nearly 50 properties across the Fraser Valley when looking to buy, and this unit had a unique combination of three benefits that caused us to name it the 'Hidden Gem of Winter Park':

Great Townhouse Choice For Staying With Kids!

We had a wonderful stay in this great townhouse on Timber Lake. Just minutes (2 minutes) from the town of Winter Park makes getting to all the fun spots super convenient. This home was perfect for our family. We have three boys (7, 4, 10 months) and they had their own space upstairs which includes 2 bedrooms, a full bath, and a loft flex area. The master is on the main floor and is really nice and comfortable with a 5 piece bath & walk in closet. All of these units were very nicely designed and the home just feels great from the moment you walk in. Very nice upgrades and great deck. Kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals at home. We really liked the private hot tub for sure. My wife and I were able to enjoy the hot tub after the kids were down because it's right there out the front door. This wouldn't have been possible staying at your typical resort or hotel so we loved this about the property. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you.

In all fairness, the townhome does have three floors, with the main floor up on the second level. We have not pushed the idea of kids too strongly, feeling perhaps that stairs may not be good for all families. Maybe we should re-think that given that things worked well for you, and with three younger boys at that!

excellent accomodations

One of the best places we have stayed at in Winter Park. A short walk to the bus stop that will take you around town and to the base. There is plenty of room to spend time together or go have quiet time. Its hard to find a condo that has rooms for three adult couples, and this one provides that plus much more. We look forward to using this property for future trips to Winter Park.

Love This Place

We had a great time spending Father's Day weekend with our daughter and her family from Nebraska. The townhome is everything and more than descsribed. Wonderful quiet location and beautiful surroundings. Great natural light in the kitchen and living area. The fireplace made for a cozy night watching movies when it was chilly and rainy outside. The alpine slide was great fun as was the hot tub and enjoyed by all. The owner's were very helpful and easy to work with and we hope to have a return visit again next year. The townhome truly is a hidden gem!
