Secluded Berkshires Get-Away

We had an amazing time at the Berkshire Treehouse in Otis this summer. We are a family of four with two teen-age boys and we all loved the Treehouse--it's nestled amongst the trees and with all of the glass windows, it truly felt like a treehouse. We could see the stars at night and awoke to birds. We were a tad tight with three big guys, but it worked. The kitchen is small, but everything you need is right there and the BBQ outside added cooking options. There was no television which was fantastic; instead there were plenty of games to keep us busy. We cooked together and enjoyed the relaxing pace.
In terms of location, Otis is definitely a sleepy town and you're a bit farther from places like Tanglewood, but within a 30 minutes drive you can be at any of the Berkshire hot spots. Since it was our third time in the Berkshires, we explored new locales and especially loved the Beckett Quarry. Awesome hiking spot with a water hole.
The owners were great to work with--accommodating and helpful--and the rate was quite reasonable. We would definitely go back again.
