Lodge, 4 Bedrooms + Loft, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Very private setting. Set amongst the trees with woods around and behind. This home has a theater room with huge couch perfect to watch a good flick while popping some corn in the small downstairs kitchen. The home has 3 levels. While the kids watch a movie the adults can gather around the loft poker table and play a friendly game of cards. After the kids go to sleep sneak off the hot tub on the bottom deck and on brisk nights warm up to the relaxing jets. There are 4 large decks on this home. The main deck has plenty of rocking chairs and wraps around the home. The 2 decks on the upper level are both private. On the loft you can walk on the catwalk to a private deck with a chimney for private fires. The Bottom floor deck contains the hot tub. The main floor has grill as well as gas fire pit. Outside the home walk down the man made log stairs and build a fire and make smokes in the outdoors fire pit. Enjoy a good home cooked meal in our gourmet kitchen.

SMOKY MOUNTAIN DREAMS: We hope you love our home as much as we do. You can relax or be busy all day long. its really up to you. The home is so close to all the action but you will never hear it. There are views of rolling hills out the side and back of the home. Although in a resort its private setting is one that brings plenty of birds and other critters every now and then. Bring your own movies and relax in our theater room or play a game or two of cards with the family. We have board games as well to keep you occupied. There are two fireplaces in the home. One on the main floor and one in the upstairs master bedroom. ( r-o-m-a-n-t-i-c ).

Our home has been very popular for family retreats/get together s. We also have a 2 bedroom home in the same resort so from time to time church groups will rent out both or large families as well. Our home is located in Alpine Mountain Village. There is a swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, walking trails, and pavilion for your use.

This luxury log home is located at Light 1 in Pigeon Forge. Approx 500 yards from the parkway. Dollywood is approx 5 miles from the home. Sometimes you can hear the train whistle at night. The area is full of things to do and shows to see. Pigeon Forge has 10 traffic lights. At the end of the road is the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and entrance to Gatlinburg. Cades Cove is out off of Light 3. Wildlife and the Landscape of the Mountains are everywhere. You cant turn and not see it. The Knoxville airport is about 45 min away, and for all of your private pilots (like us) KGKT is 7 min from the home. Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg has a trolley system as well. You can buy tickets for a week or by the day. Park your car and let someone else do the driving. The Titanic Exhibition just opened a brand new Museum. Be sure to check it out along with Dixie Stampede and many of the other shows in town. All along the parkway are go-carts and amusement type parks.

AWESOME CABIN!

I feel that it is important to write a reveiw for this cabin, since I have not found one for it. We arrived on 7/13/12. The cabin was wonderful! It was 3 floors, so we did not have to be under each other all the time. Sitting on the different balconies (which had plenty of different seating options) gave different views each morning as I enjoyed my coffee and read my book. The kitchen was well stocked with anything that was needed. Lots of dishes for a big crowd. Plenty of towels and beach towels and the 2 washers/dryers was awesome! The movie room was great watching the movies that was at the cabin and some that we brought with us. Kids loved having the mini-kitchen by the movie room for popcorn and the fridge for drinks. Kept them from coming upstairs. Hot tub was wonderful! Relaxing each night in it before going to bed. Mattresses were the best! All tv's had dvd players in them, which was nice for my 7 year old watching his movies. Location was great! It was right off the parkway close to everything. Great restaurants, shows, go-karts and all close by. Dawn and Steve were great to rent from. Would not hesitate to rent from them again in the future!
