cleaning :
Cleaning before and after is included in the rental, for multiple week stay cleaning is provided once a week and linens are changed.
Maps and information are provided in the house. Directions to the various historical sights, banks, pharmacy, supermarkets, local markets, outlets, museums are provided.
Local products:
The house is part of a large estate, wine and oil can be purchases on the premises. The nearby town of Montelupo Fiorentino is the capital of ceramic, there is one of the most important Museum of Ceramic in the world. There are outlets for hand painted dishes, blowns glass in Empoli, as well as store and local artisans who will make things to order.
The area is famous for its olive oil of the best quality, Chianti wine, pecorino cheese, and of course all the meats such as sausages, prosciutto, salame toscano and wild game meats.
Such genuine products as well as home cooked foods can be purchased at the local Alimentari in the village, however, local products are also available at the supermakets both in Montelupo and Cerbaia.
For fashion and design seekers there are many outlets for shoes, bags, cachemere, the finest house linens, designer clothes.
