I am celebrating this year 22 years on Maui !! November 11, 1991 was the day I arrived on Maui with one piece of luggage only. It did not take me long to figure out that Maui was going to be my Home for a long time... There is something about Maui that defies people who want to live here ... In fact the Hawaiians always say : If Maui likes You, it will take you in and nurture you. If it does not like you it will spit you out... Well obviously I was not spitted out :) - Buying this little treasure in the Central part of Kihei was probably the best thing I ever did since I have been on Maui. What is there not to enjoy ?
I had never wanted to own anything until a few years ago after I came back from a trip to my Home Country (France). I knew that for me there was no way back... I came back and determined that I belong to Maui so the opportunity came for me to buy this unit and as soon as I opened the door I saw the great potential to share this with those who can appreciate quality on a budget.
When you come and stay there you get to meet the People of Maui instead of the people who come and go. It is not a Resort. It is where People live mostly all year around so you actually get to interact with the 'real Locals' which is what we should all experience when visiting somewhere
