We have been enjoying Nantucket for 25 years, including our engagement on Madaket Beach at sunset back in 1995.
Our experiences show that Nantucket has much to offer families and individuals alike and continues to entertain and inspire us as our family grows. We constantly find new experiences and areas to explore, from museums to natural escapes.
Sunshine, sand, fresh air and biking form the foundation of our appoach to island enjoyment, often ending the day enjoying a breathtaking sunset followed by a trip to the Juice Bar for ice cream.
We are more than happy to assist you in any way we can. If it is your first time or tenth time to the Island we will gladly give you Ferry tips and ideas to make the most of your most relaxing vacation EVER!
The Owner purchased this house in 2011
Centrally located, perfect neighborhood, great access to beaches and town alike.
We visited Nantucket for the first time with our 14 month old son, my parents, and sister. The house is cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the large dining room table as we had many family dinners during our 7 day stay. The pool and club house center was a nice added touch, although, I will say it is definitely filled with and aimed at pleasing those that have little ones. The location of Naushop is pretty central and it didn't take us longer than 10/15 minutes to get anywhere. I would even say most of our drives were under 10 minutes. It's definitely a location where you need to rent or have a vehicle. We can't wait to plan another family trip to Nantucket. Many thanks to the owners for helping to make our trip to Nantucket so special and memorable!
We have been visiting Nantucket for 20 years and found Naushop and this house in particular just wonderful! The owners are amazing, responsive, and thought of everything our family needed for a fantastic vacation - even had a brand new thermometer just in case guests had a fever, which in our case came in very handy! Even though we have been here many times before we appreciated the activity/restaurant ideas Carolyn sent us. We took advantage of the bikes and trailer that were provided and worked out great for our sons , 7 and 3 yrs old. They loved the circle location. We especially liked the layout of the house with large sunny kitchen, furnishings, comfy beds, new outdoor shower and deck. The kitchen was better equipped than other homes we have rented in the past. And my personal favorite : the beds were made up for us upon arrival and departure, though very sad, was made so easy with just having to start laundry and dishwasher as opposed to having to make up the beds and empty clean dishes. That is a total win win for me!!! We also liked the pool and community areas. Naushop has a friendly neighborhood feel to it, much more than Nashiquisset. We loved our June trip to this home so much we are returning in September! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
We rented this sweet cape-style house for a ladies weekend during the annual Daffodil Festival.
This charming house feels larger than it appears in the photos. It is clean, spacious, and well cared for. The kitchen and dining area are open and large enough to prepare and serve a meal for a crowd. There is a nice deck off the dining room, too. The bedrooms (3 upstairs) are very large and decorated in a beach cottage style that captures the Nantucket vibe! For groups of eight, it’s important to know that the upstairs bedrooms sleep six comfortably; two bedrooms have one queen bed in each, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. All three rooms share one full bathroom. On the first floor, there is a sofa bed in the den than can sleep two. A full bathroom with laundry, also on the first floor, is very convenient.
The house is in a residential village that is right on the bike path and centrally located for easy access to some of Nantucket’s popular destinations including Surfside Beach, ‘Sconset, family restaurants, and downtown.
The owners are very responsive and genuinely care about your stay. They made it clear that they want their guests to enjoy all the island has to offer as much they do. I would definitely recommend this house anyone interested in a comfortable stay on Nantucket.
This home is delightful. It is the perfect mix of comfort, Nantucket charm, and amenities for a vacation. Rooms and kitchen are spacious and well-equipped. The decor is perfect for Nantucket and gives you a feeling of welcome throughout. We loved the central location and access to any aspect of the island; biking trails, shopping, beaches, and restaurants are all so close. Neil and Carolyn prepared us with a "beginners guide to Nantucket" that truly helped make our week exactly what we wanted. This home is ideal for active plans or just decompressing and relaxation. We loved it! Thanks!
Great week in latter part of June. Weather was great, island is beautiful, lots and lots to do. Accomodation was perfect for us - clean, well maintained, well equipped, and in a lovely, centrally located neighborhood with pool, tennis courts, reading library, etc. and on a bike path / running trail that got heavily used by our party. We dined nearby at the Old South Diner, AK Diamonds, Fusaro's, and Alice's Restaurant at the airport - all great experiences.
Bottom line -- I highly recommed this reasonably priced rental for a family vacation in Nantucket.
We had an amazing vacation and absolutely adored this home! The location is fantastic and it has all of the luxuries of home. We will be renting again!
