Will go again (and again)

We’ve stayed in this house three times now. The pictures really don’t do justice to the open-concept living area. Unlike many other rental houses we’ve stayed in, this one is truly “light” and “bright,” cheery and stylish, a welcome break from the ubiquitous burgundy and forest green “country” furnishings that usually await us. Seated at the intersection of two barely-traveled dirt roads, it’s very quiet, with tons of grassy space for the kids to run around on.
While the house is clearly set up for families with children (and my kids think it’s paradise), it’s a great spot for child-free adults who want to soak up country life and still be within driving distance of a cappuccino, movie, boutique shopping, or gourmet meal. In fact, I referred a group of six colleagues who needed housing for a nearby conference, and they “didn’t want to leave.”
No TV there, although I think they have a DVD player. I know this is a plus for some, a deal-breaker for others…
I think the weekly rate is very reasonable, even when you factor in the cleaning fee. I appreciate that the owners use green cleaning products. If they allow pets or smoking, we couldn’t detect it, as several members of my family have serious allergies.
Highly recommended.
