HONEYMOON OR NOT THIS PLACE WAS MAGICAL !!!!!!

Where do I even begin? How about I start with the ONLY negative point I could find, and that is that the pictures online DO NOT DO this paradise any justice at all.
My newlywed honeymoon experience could not have been any better. We arrived well after sundown (not recommended for people easily daunted by unfamiliar territory - as this now famous "gravel" driveway seems to be something of a conversation, which in my eyes if you follow the recommendations of those who know the property best and get yourself a 4x4 with proper mountain tires you will have NO problem at all - remember you're on a trip to gain new experiences and create new memories, if you want things exactly the way you know them to be at home, then, stay home). I digress, after arriving after dark we only had the luxury of seeing the absolute beauty that is the interior of this unbelievably built haven - until our morning surprise - you can tell the owner took pride in making this a magical place. Has EVERYTHING you need (towels, toilet paper, games, movies, books, pool accessories, beach accessories, chaise-loungers, daybeds - indoors and out - some of my best naps taken there, and the list goes on and on) to all the extras.
But, I must say that the HUGE Master bedroom with the absolutely gorgeous view and wrap-around balcony was only made better by the most amazing indoor Hot Tub I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying - a romantic/serene place for pure tranquility. Anybody enjoying the idea or even the opportunity to experience all that Costa Rica and "off-the-grid" living provides you will be mesmerized by this place (don't think "off-the-grid" means roughing it because in this case that could not be farther from the truth).
If you enjoy a serene setting to do and see things you may never be exposed to (like Yoga/meditation on a balcony with a Rainforest sunrise overlooking the Pacific in the distance or a school of Capuchian monkeys just as curious of you as you are of them, keeping their distance but close enough to get fantastic pictures or having the most amazing view for your dinners and breakfasts) I can tell you, DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER......this place is a piece of heaven on Earth.
You should also be aware that as "undeveloped" as Uvita may be there is everything you need. Including the extras of surfing, ATV tours, Scuba Diving, many restaurants, etc.
The private pool, the views, the tranquility, the people....YOU WILL WANT TO STAY FOREVER, we did :-)
