The cabin was very nice. The pictures make the yard look bigger, but it is still very quiet once the construction workers are done. We didn't have any privacy issues at all, and the property is very nice. On an excellent part of the river for trout fishing if you are willing to kayak or wade for a little while. I would recommend the property to anyone as we enjoyed our stay. I would go back for the fishing and the privacy. Very peaceful weekend.
The Arnolds cabin was absolutely beautiful an so was the property! Deffinatly exceeded both my husband and my expectations. My husband and I were spending a quite weekend alone and we had a great time! The fireplace worked great at night for our small fire! While siting on the screened in porch we saw 3 deer. Would love to go back around the end of summer and take our son so we could enjoy the fact that this cabin is right on the Manistee river! Very quiet, peaceful & not to far out of town! Two thumbs up! I hope we can go to this cabin again, it is an absolutely perfect "up north" cabin!!!!
We had a large group and it was perfect. The fireplace worked well when it was -27 degrees out. I look forward to next year.
Elizabeth(Beth) was very helpful with our families personal needs. The cabin was better than expected. When we arrived it was very well kept and clean. We only wish we could have been there during the warm weather to enjoy the screened in porch with views of the Manistee River. The cabin is very close to the snowmobile/ORV trails, huge bonus. The house has every kitchen was well stocked for any cooking needs you have. The fireplace was beautiful, I wish we would have used it(not enough time with our busy schedule). All in all we will be back soon. Thank you for having us in your home..
This is our second year and we've already booked for next year! The snow falling and the roaring fire in the field stone fireplace really made it cozy and postcard perfect. The owner was VERY accommodating to our schedule and needs. She had the drive freshly plowed when we arrived. What a terrific getaway and stress reliever from everyday life. Already looking forward to next year!
My wife and I stayed here along with two friends. It's a delightful cabin on the banks of the Manistee. Clean and bright with a great view of the river. We enjoyed it a lot!
