Why James and Rachel Maslowsky chose Frisco

Since moving to Colorado over 10 years ago, my wife and I have been passionate about the mountains. We fell in love with Frisco because of its quaint downtown, local charm and laid back feel. The location is unbeatable; just over an hour drive from Denver and close to some of the best ski resorts in the world. We hope you enjoy our vacation home as much as we do.

Ski Condo

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time staying at this condo for our ski trip to Vail and Copper Mountain. Next time we will skip Vail, too crowded. Copper was great. The condo location was very clean and convenient to shopping and skiing. Will definitely stay here again next year.

Frisco - a great find - we love it here!!!

  • 5 of 5

We are an Australian family who needed an extended stay due to our youngest attending a snowboarding camp within the Summit County Resorts. We stayed in this lovely, clean, modern and cozy condo for 4 weeks earlier this year in January. We really enjoyed our stay in this very picturesque locale. Frisco is a great base for the surrounding resorts.

I have no negatives only positives about our stay. The condo is very central to whatever you may need to do locally. It is about a 5-minute walk to the bus stop another 5 mins to Main Street. We didn’t have a car for most of the time and managed fine getting around Frisco - mostly travelling to Cooper Mountain but sometimes Breckenridge and Keystone and also Silverthorne. The local bus network is really good and most times runs on time (apart from super busy times and really bad weather - but we were never stranded put it that way). Just be careful there is no cab service in the local area so don’t think you can rely on this.

The condo itself is well setup; the queen bed and also the queen size sofa bed are super comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with functional appliances and a large size fridge, hotplates and oven. The bathroom is a good size not small at all with a large jetted tub to relax those aching muscles. The combined lounge/dining and kitchen is a good size for a one-bedroom condo. Of course once the sofa bed is open the lounge size shrinks but I would prefer a better quality and larger size sofa bed rather then a small uncomfortable one. All the towels and linen are super comfy and clean like the rest of the condo. The cable TV and Wi-Fi worked great – no problems at all.

Rachel is a lovely lady – very accommodating and informative. Our rate was very reasonable for length of stay and time of year. We were fortunate to arrive with waist deep snow along the sides of the pathways and left when it wasn’t much lower. We had a lovely stay at the condo and would love to stay again when we next visit Summit County.

Owner's Response: Thank you for sharing your experience for future travelers. The free public transit system is a great way to get around if you don't have a car. We are so glad that you found a comfortable home away from home. Best of luck to your son with his snowboarding career!

Good:

Clean, Nice beds, coffee maker, easy key pad entry, covered parking, nice bathroom / shower with hair dryer, new tv, nice central location to go skiing at Breck, Keystone, and 35 min to Vail, refunded deposit promptly.

The So So:

Instructions for the condo including the code to get in were sent via VRBO, yet the info cannot be opened on an iPhone (I should have printed it before we left for vacation). Upon arrival we texted the owner for the entry code and it was sent quickly. We also requested that the condo info be sent via a separate email so we could view and that came a few days later.

Couldn't find the humidifier that was listed on the instructions.

This condo is a good 6 normal city blocks from the end of main street where most places to eat are on the mid way down the street and tough to walk to in the snowy months.

The entrance to the condo is on the opposite side of the building from the parking. This wouldn't be to bad if we didn't have to haul our bags down the walking path that had 8" of new snow on it. (Good for skiing / bad for getting to your door from the covered parking) They did snow blow it once a day yet the snow was coming down around 8-12" / day.

Condo felt a little small inside because of the darker tones.

Wish they had an outside hot tub or heated pool. (but I knew that one going in)

The Bad:

Nothing.

Overall it was a nice place and I recommend it for a couple or two singles.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this well-appointed condo over Labor Day Weekend. The location is perfect. The amenities in close proximity are wonderful. The scenery is breathtaking. And the owners extend gracious hospitality. We look forward to our next stay!

Perfect Location, Perfect Condo

  • 5 of 5

Coming from the front range we have stayed in quite a few different condos in Summit county. We love Frisco and this condo is in a great location to walk to everything downtown Frisco has to offer or jump in the car to head out for the day. The condo covered parking that is very convenient (not all condos in summit have this). Inside its fantastic (very new) with everything you need in a very modern, clean, great looking interior. The owners were very quick to respond to our email correspondence and very helpful with any questions we had.
