We stayed in this unit for two weeks (February / March) and it was absolutely fantastic. This was our second trip to Hali'i Kai and we will certainly be returning. The location of the unit is ideal as it is in walking distance to the pool. The unit was well outfitted and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the kitchen essentials. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated. The unit was also equipped with pool / beach accessories. We LOVED having the BBQ grill on the lanai. If we did have any questions, the owner was reachable and / or always responded in a timely manner. We traveled as a family and brought young children with us, this unit had both a high chair and a pack and play so it made our travels hassle free.
We especially love the grill / bar at the pool, it was so convenient to not have to go back to the unit for a snack or beverage. There are many fantastic restaurants in the area, our two favorites for a sunset dinner are the Canoe House at Mauna Lani and Pahu i`a at the Four Seasons. We also enjoy lunch at Merriman's at Waikoloa Village. Since we traveled with family, it was convenient and cost effective for us to join Costco and stock up each week. Cooking in the unit was a breeze as it was well equipped with everything we needed.
