About The Owner
We retired to the Vineyard several years ago after living in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts for many years. We loved the mountains and streams but find it delightful to be so close to the ocean. We live here from September--June but spend summers on a small island in Maine (we seem to be addicted to islands). Since this is our permanent residence, we are very interested in finding renters who will treat our home with tender, loving care.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2007
What makes this condo unique
We love our location. It's just a short drive to town and there are many places to walk just by stepping out our front door. I am an avid fisherman and find many places to fish from the shore within a short drive. We especially love the Tashmoo Wood setting. The buildings are spread throughout the wooded 100 acre parcel so we have a definite sense of privacy. Also, even though each building has 3 units, each structure looks look a large private residence but is designed to promote a sense of being in a single family home. When our friends from off-island visit, they often remark on the uniqueness of the lay-out and the overall design.
