perfect spot for us and our kids
We stayed here for a week in July while attending a wedding in Portsmouth. The place was even better than we imagined and once there, we left only to grocery shop and attend the wedding, spending the rest of our time enjoying the view and great outdoor space. We loved having our own private beach and swam in the clean, clear warm water every day. Our 9-month old daughter loved swimming with us, and our friend's 21-month old son spent hours tossing rocks into the water. We hung a hammock from the two trees, and whiled away hours in the morning shade while the kids played on the lawn. At night, we had fun after the kids were asleep, having dinner and cocktails on the screened-in porch. We were informed that the bedrooms don't have ceilings, which we were concerned about at first, but it worked out just fine. The back bedroom does have a ceiling and its own A/C unit; we slept in there with our daughter, so her crying didn't disturb the other baby or vice versa. We had a wonderful week and enjoyed this well-maintained house, its seaside charm and ammenities, and great location. Thank you!
