Come and enjoy a relaxing South Nags Head vacation. 'Good Day Sunshine!' is beautifully furnished and decorated where you can relax in peace and quiet. Whether you're watching the waves of the Atlantic Ocean, the dolphins or pelicans playing, or the beautiful sunrises, you will be inspired by the views.
The beach is literally next door. It begins only about 75' from the end of your driveway. You will enjoy direct access to one of the best stretches of beach in Nags Head that is far less crowded and quiet. You even have the added security of a Nags Head Lifeguard Station positioned directly at the end of our street. That's great piece of mind, especially with 'little ones'. (Google Maps may still show Surfside Drive between our cottage and the beach but it was washed away a few years ago.) Escape the crowds and the noise you will find near the 'Big Road'. Walk the beach early in the morning to find beautiful sea shells or sea glass (our favorite). The wide sand beaches of South Nags Head are some of the cleanest beaches on the Outer Banks. Come sit, read a book, sunbathe, or enjoy a meal on our spacious and comfortable sun deck.
The Family room has a flat screen TV with DVD player, board games and stereo.
The Kitchen has plenty of updated cabinets with granite counter tops and has all the modern conveniences of home with a sealed top range, Microwave, dishwasher and a refrigerator. There are plenty of cooking utensils and silverware.
A storage area is located under the house for storage of your beach items. A foot wash is located adjacent to the stairs. A gas grill is located on the deck just outside the sliding glass doors. An enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water is located on the ground level.
Just down the street is a jogging/bicycle/walking trail that extends for 6 miles along Old Oregon Inlet Road. This concrete multi-use path is excellent for taking an afternoon stroll or biking or rollerblading with the family. Outlet shopping located only miles from house. Located in a quiet area with little traffic and uncrowded beaches. Don't forget to be at the docks of Oregon Inlet (10 Minutes away) at 4:00 to watch the charter fleet come in with their fresh catch of the day.
Make your plans to stay in this wonderful semi-oceanfront retreat. 'Good Day Sunshine!' is the perfect venue for rest and relaxation. The area is quiet, but located only a couple of minutes from shopping, first-class restaurants, fishing and entertainment. This is a great location for your next summer vacation!
Please bring bed and bath linens and toiletries. We supply bed top covers and pillows. Linens can also be rented via local providers, please ask for references, if interested.

To calculate the total cost for a particular week, simply add 11.75% (for occupancy taxes) and then $49.00 (for Accidental Damage Protection) to the corresponding advertised rate. There are no hidden fees or charges.
