ONE OF INCLINE'S BEST NEIGHBORHOODS
We believe this is one of the best neighborhoods in Incline Village. It’s quiet, mid-elevation, terrific neighbors, lots of privacy, easy access to town but yet not in the middle of town’s hustle and bustle. Walk or snowshoe just three houses down and you’ll find yourself in 28k acres of Toiyabe National Forest! Yes, we have wild beasts that occasionally roam our neighborhood
We have two children who grew up spending warm summers and snowbound winter holidays here.

As a salesperson I travel so this creates opportunity for others to share my home while I'm away. Growing up in San Francisco, I spent my summers at Russian River, Clear Lake and Santa Cruz. I don’t regret any of those experiences BUT Lake Tahoe, with all of the beauty and boundless activities... it can't be beat!
I enjoy snowboarding with my daughters, kayaking, swimming and even lake surfing (Sept to March – yes it is cold). I own a Vizsla named Mara, a Hungarian pointer, who absolutely loves Tahoe. I am an amateur radio nut and at 7k’ elevation I seem to always have good propagation. I also enjoy shooting and use the excellent public range in Carson where my daughter and I target practice with our rifles. If I didn’t have to work for a living… I’d be busy doing stuff all day long here!
Mike purchased this house in 2003
Incline Village, Lake Tahoe, is just 3 hours from Marin County or 3.5 hours from San Francisco. I can surf and snowboard in the same day!
The town offers private beaches, limited development, unlimited activities and is a perfect place for kids! I’ve been fortunate to have traveled around the world and visit some of the most beautiful places on Earth only to find that Lake Tahoe is one such place and its right in my own backyard.
If you like sun... this is the place. We have sun nearly every day! Quiet? My neighborhood is one of the finest in Lake Tahoe and with the open, wooded lot off my deck and the large trees around the property it creates a sense of privacy. My home in the winter, with the wood burning fireplace roaring, is as cozy as it gets. I love the fact I am so centrally located.
This is my 2nd stay. My kids swim in for a CA team and we attend the Carson City Intermountain Classic meet. We use this home as our base. It’s a 22 mile drive each way but it allows us to relax in a mountain/lake home for less money than it would cost to stay in a Carson City hotel! And look what we get! 4 adults and 3 kids and I highly recommend it.
This is our third time staying at Mike's house. Our stay like the previous times was outstanding. The house is nothing short of amazing. The house was perfectly clean and ready for our stay. Can't say enough about this little piece of paradise. I truly recommend it to anybody who wants to experience the beauty of Lake Tahoe in the most wonderful house.e
Loved the home. Mike is a fast and great communicator. I would definitely rent from this place again. Everything works perfectly and plenty of utensils for us to use. The home was clean and well maintained and I would recommend this place to a friend. The price was cheaper compared to other properties of the same sq footage. We also had a friend who brought up the dog and the dog loved the place too! It is close to safeway and north star where we went snowboarding and also close to a golf course where we took our baby to go sledding! Overall the home was excellent and the owner was very friendly to communicate with!
The owner is very easy to work with. The house is a little dated (kitchen needs some updating and the cabinets through out need some attention) but overall the space is good and the house is clean. It is very fairly priced (maybe even under priced) for the space and location. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house as a moderately priced rental in a good location. True, its not 5* - but it's not costing an arm / leg either! Anyhow, thanks for sharing your home for the weekend.
We have a family with 2 small children and the house was perfect for us. Plenty of space and nicely layout. We made use of the Incline Village rec center and private beaches. Absolutely great feature of staying there. We loved the place and Mike was a pleasure to work with. We will be back.
everything went great in Tahoe, your home was perfect for my family. the notes around the home were helpful and appreciated. all in all we left very happy.
thank you for opening your home to us.
Want to start by saying my wife and I are lodging snobs, and having acquired this rental in auction, we were not sure how nice it was going to be. What a pleasant surprise! The minute we walked in, we felt right at home. The Great Room is so inviting, with a lovely peek-through view of the lake. The furniture was cozy and comfortable, and the house is appointed with Wi-Fi and a huge TV. We had a small technical issue with the cable, but e-mailed the owner, and he responded w/in a half an hour. Situation fixed. The kitchen is fully stocked, including high-quality cookware. Nice master loft, and bed was very comfortable. Location is close to supermarket and restaurants, as well as the Hyatt. To sum up, we had a relaxing and restorative vacation, and will definitely rent this home again.
