House, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-4)

We have been going to Barra for many years. Falling in love with the area, people and ocean/mountains everywhere you look. When our house came on the market we bought it at once. We have put in a pool in the back yard and with table, chairs, umbrella and lounge chairs it is very comfortable and we use the pool several times a day when there.

There is a great selection of CD's in the music library and we have US and Canadian cable TV. There are ceiling fans in each room that keep the tropical breezes flowing through the house.

We have a great couple who care for the home when we are there and away. They will come and clean and take care of gardens in the front and back of the house once a week. The pool man comes twice a week to check filters, clean and vacuum the pool. We also have a washer and dryer for your convenience. There is a spiral staircase up to the two bedrooms, master with a king size bed, dresser and closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed dresser and closet as well as a desk with computer WyFi connections. We also have a local land line phone.

There are 2 bathrooms one up stairs and one on the main floor. Each have showers. The kitchen is fully equipped to make the perfect meal of fresh fish from the local fish market or there is even a pasta maker. Dishes pots and pans. A gas stove and large stainless fridge.

We hope you will enjoy our lovely home as much as we do.

Keywords: This House is a Secure family home located on a quiet street. You could find yourself having a swim and cocktails before wandering down to view one of Barra's fabulous sunsets and dinner. Or cozy up with a good movie after BBQ and a swim at home.

The two story house has 2 bathrooms one on the second floor and one on the main floor. Two large bedrooms each with a closet upstairs.One has a king size bed and the other has a queen bed.

It has an open floor plan downstairs with comfortable dinning room, living room looking out onto the back courtyard which has a garden and pool. A seating area with a table, umbrella and lounge chairs.

There is a large selection of CD's and DVD's as well as US and Canadian Satellite television.

There is secure covered parking in the front courtyard that has tropical trees and gardens.

We are a short walk (10 to 15 minutes) to the beach and the center of down town Barra de Navidad.

We were there with our daughter (the princess) and she loved it too. Absolutely perfect for family or 2 couples. On a side street away from traffic and dust, but easy, short walk to butcher shop, grocery store, beach and our favorite BBQ chicken vendor. Down town fun is only a 15 minute walk too but we did use the bikes to explore all around Barra. The housekeeping staff are friendly and super helpful. We spent the hotest part of the day lounging around the pool and entertained dinner company in the front courtyard with the help of the BBQ. Secure gated parking for bikes, car, surf boards or other toys. The owners are awesome people, super accommodating and concerned that our stay was exactly what we wanted. If you are looking for a great home to rent in Barra, this one is well worth the little extra. We are going back next winter for 2 months.
