Bella Sera by the Sea -
The owners chose to build this luxurious 6,000 square foot villa on scenic Grapetree Point after traveling throughout the Caribbean to virtually every island. Just up the hill from Bella Sera is the Contessa Nadia D'Navarro's spectacular castle, and, indeed, this quiet scenic locale, on the east end of this Virgin Island, is enjoyed only by a special few.
Bella Sera is lushly landscaped with palms and tropical flowers, wonderful scents complemented with the sound of the turquoise Caribbean waves rolling in below . Spend languorous days relaxing in the plentiful shaded or sunny sitting areas, with plenty of softly cushioned furniture to accommodate your every mood.
The fabulous pool and grotto area with waterfalls is complemented with a waterslide and large adult foam floats that transform the pool into an inviting play area or a peaceful haven for drifting away, listening to your favorite music on the professional outdoor sound system.
The days here slowly melt away until the sun gloriously sets. It is time to move to the hot tub or the huge movie size 80'' LCD TV with unlimited streaming movies. Enjoy a tropical dinner in the comfortably furnished outdoor pavilion complete with wet bar, fridge and gas grill` overlooking the ocean front.
This is barefoot luxury at its very best.
THE POOL (you will be spoiled forever): The pool is luxuriously heated to 85 - 89 F. Enjoy your 'float therapy' with the comfy adult foam floats accompanied by your favorite music on the outdoor sound system. The rock waterfalls in the shallow pool grotto sitting area cascades into the pool, creating a nice relaxing shaded area in the pool. Two bridges span the pool above and below, for easy access back and forth.
Our hot tub is spectacularly set at the edge of the cliff with the waves crashing in below.
For the children, we have a box full of pool toys and smaller floats, and a fabulous water slide ( see photo). There is a small shallow play area at the entry for non-swimming children, but most of the pool is 4- 5 feet deep.
No luxury pool is complete without a poolside bath, large shaded pavilion, granite and glass block wet bar, ice maker, gas grill, Margartitaville frozen drink maker, and fridge. What a great day!
THE BEDROOMS ( be lulled to sleep by the waves): Each bedroom has spectacular ocean views. Soft, comfy linens and mattresses throughout. Each lovely decorated bedroom is air conditioned with an ensuite bathroom that is also a piece of art. The guest bedrooms each have large windows overlooking the ocean and feature a patio with lounge furniture. The spacious master bedroom is honeymoon style. Lace canopied king bed with a nice sitting area and a walkout balcony to the waves crashing in below. You will enjoy brilliantly starry and moon-lit nights on the balcony's double chaise lounge. And the bathroom is HUGE! A work of art with a deep jetted jacuzzi overlooking the Caribbean
All the bedrooms have DISH TV and DVD. Each has an alarm clock with IPOD/IPhone docks and players.
THE KITCHEN - (a view for the gourmet chef)
Start with the stainless steel appliances: DeLonghi expresso/cappucino and cofee maker; SubZero Pro glass fridge and freezer; and,Wolf range, double oven, griddle and grill. Add to that every cookware item made by LeCreuset and you are set for a large gourmet feast or a quiet dinner for two.
THE TECHNOLOGY (you will be surprised): You will find all the tech comforts of home. High speed internet with ethernet or WI-FI connection throughout the villa or grounds. Each room has telephone and intercom connecting every area of this large villa.
**This is a GREEN villa. Yes, we have all the power consuming luxuries, but while you are pool floating and soaking up the sun's rays, the roof top is producing 8,000 watts of solar power. All our hot water is solar heated, as is the spa and pool. (with electric utility back-up).
**The solar system provides battery back-up power. If you have visited the Caribbean before, you know the power can go down at any time. Here at Bella Sera you will never know, because the electric moves seamlessly to the solar battery packs or generator.
