My husband and I traveled to the Tri-Cities to visit some of his family. We had our 1 year old and my mother in law with us. The thought of staying in an over-priced hotel did not seem enjoyable with a 1 year old who needs to nap twice a day. I found this home online and hoped it would be perfect for us and it was!! Not only was this home clean and well kept, it made our 4 day stay so much more comfortable. We each had our own room and it truly did feel like a home away from home. The place was very clean and the amenities enabled us to do a lot of cooking and relaxing. It was just wonderful to have the space to live instead of being cramped in a hotel room. Prior travelers had left behind some simple essentials in the fridge and we did the same when we left. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to have a comfortable stay while visiting the tri-cities area. Thank you for opening your home to us Rich and Amy!!
This rental was beautifully appointed, clean, and well-maintained. I was in town for a convention with several students. My daughter (5 yrs old) loved the pool table, my students loved studying in the big comfy living room, and I loved the soft sounds of frogs outside at night. It was great that we could walk to Kiko's for dinner and to the Red Apple for groceries. This space was so much better for being together and relaxing than a hotel would've been. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Tri-Cities.
We had visitors of all ages ranging from 3mos - 65yo. There is something for everyone at this vacation rental. The pool, outdoor seating area, pool table and super comfy seating in the living room and dining room were perfect for entertaining everyone. The kitchen was completely stocked, including most staples, crockpot, mixer, blender, etc. All you need are groceries specific to your menu. The outdoor pool house with additional refrigerator and bathroom were perfect to keep everyone from going in and out of the house while entertaining. We have family from both my side and my Husband's side of the family in the area and we will definitely be back!
Make sure and visit Viera's Mexican Bakery in Pasco. It's only minutes from the house and they have any type of bakery item you could want. We especially enjoyed the jalapeno and cream cheese filled bread. Load up your tray while you're there and don't worry about the expense. We had a tray piled high and it was less than $14. Also, there's a homemade popsicle shop near the bakery. They make many varieties of popsicles including coffee, guava, cookies and cream, papaya and many more. Absolutely delic!!!!!!
The only thing we needed and couldn't find at the nearby grocery stores were some citronella candles for outdoors. We could have probably found these at Wal-Mart but never made it there.
Visited family in Kennewick. Great rental choice.
Place has a great layout, its well furnished and set up for entertaining 20+ outside around the pool. It's set back off the road a bit and plenty of parking for guests.
Its very well stocked with linens, basic supplies and such. Could use a new set of pans though. The pool area would be perfect if the outside beverage cooler were working and the pool liner got a little attention. Overall fantastic stay.
I wanted a quiet place, guaranteed to have warm weather (it was in the 90s), with a pool all to myself. (Also took my two small dogs.) It was perfect. Made my own meals every day instead of having to eat out at restaurants and hung out by the pool as much as my pale skin would permit. Will definitely come back and would be an excellent location for a family celebration or girls' weekend. Only thing I found bothersome was the presence of several flies I could not get rid of, despite even buying something to eradicate them, and that someone had removed batteries from two of the remote controls (I left them open so housekeeping would replace). Someone did enter the pool area while I was gone one day but it appears it was to clean the pool because they fixed the strainer that was broken when I arrived and changed it out to the brush. I suppose I would have liked to know that was going to happen but I might already have been notified and just didn't realize it. I have no reason to believe they went in the house, but certainly would not have liked that if that did happen. Laundry available on scene was fantastic. I left some stuff in the refrigerator to be used by future guests, just as others had done before me. Still laughing to myself that the dogs never figured out that there was a horse on the other side of one of the fences. I brought my own fencing with me to make sure the dogs would be secure and to avoid leashing up just to travel between the house and the pool. There is one spot in the pool area that is open that would need to be secured if you are traveling with dogs that will run away, which is what mine are. Otherwise, it's a peaceful and quiet place in a perfect climate.
