The Pointe is located 16 miles south of Bloomington, Indiana and offers access to Lake Monroe, an 18 hole golf course for about $40, neighborhood amenities of a pool, tennis courts, great walking area and a full restaurant and bar at the clubhouse.

The Pointe Condo (this unit) is located on green of the 17th Green with a bedroom, porch and family room view of the course and hole. The 2 full bedrooms and 2 full baths offer quickly getting ready and the full granite/stainless kitchen, family room with 40' lcd, blue ray and sound system give you the comforts of home while traveling.

I purchased this condo to visit the area and with other family commitments will only be there about 10 weekends a year. I listed this Condo so others may access be able to enjoy the area.

Bloomington has a personal connection forged while attending Indiana University in the 1980's. I travel to Bloomington 3-4 times a year to visit the winery, IU sports, the restaurants on the town square and the pubs on Kirkwood.

The area has so many options for things to do ranging from golf, the lake, the clubhouse and the city of bloomington.

Phi Mu Mother-Daughter Weekend

My family spent 2 nights in the condo. So much better than a hotel room. The place is tastefully decorated and perfect for 4-6 people. The owner is great to deal with and the neighbors are very friendly. We will definitely visit again.

My family (wife and 2 teenage boys) just returned from a wedding in Bloomington. We made a week's vacation out of it and decided to stay at Eagle Point. We swam and played golf almost everyday. The condo is very nice and close to everything. The pool(s) are great and Lake Monroe is perfect for boating (we rented for a day). If you plan on staying in the area I would highly recommend this condo.

Eagle Pointe is a beautiful setting and very relaxing. The Condo was perfect - clean and had everything you needed. Working with the owner was great. We are going back this weekend and will try to stay there anytime we are in the area.

Christmas Wonderland

Our family of 4 stayed here 5 days over the Christmas holiday. Stockings hung by the fireplace, chili cooking in the crockpot, family games on the nice table, snowball fight on the golf course...couldn't have been better. Very well appointed, and the drive into Bloomington is a quick one. TV in every room, if your family members have diverse viewing preferences. I would recommend this to golfers, walkers, IU parents or parents of IU prospects. So much to see and do in Bloomington and the surrounding area: Day pass for $7 at Twin Lakes Rec Center, ice skating at the public rink, rock climbing at Hoosier Heights gym, fabulous Monroe County public library with free internet, restaurants: Village Deli with the giant pancakes, Runcible Spoon, Which Wich?, Restaurant Tallent and FARMbloomington.

IU/Northwestern Game

We stayed two nights for the IU/Northwestern game. I was really surprised at how easy the drive was from IU's campus. Nothing was more satisfiying then my wife's approval at how clean and well the furnished unit showed. After tailgating and stopping at a few places in town for food and beverages, we came back to the condo around 9pm with plans to go back later that night. But the comfort of the condo and the opportunity to spend some quality time with our daughter(junior at IU) compelled us to just hang out. The scenery, with the trees changing color, is enough to come down again, but I would like to visit in the summer and take advantage of Lake Monroe.
