Private Waterfront Home on Deep Water Canal (Non-Smoking Only)

The cottage was just as pretty as the pictures. Having our boat at the back door was wonderful. LOVED our week there and wish we didn't have to leave after a week. Crystal River area has fun places to eat and drink, the waters are so clear, and shopping was convenient. Hope to do it again.

I can't add anything to the other reviews. They said it all, but I'll try to add something. It was so nice! Everything! We needed to relax and that's just what we did. It was total comfort. The one day of rain didn't even hinder us, I fished while it was raining. The animal life was friendly and entertaining and the kayak was a fun experience. We look forward to a future stay.

My husband and I stayed here for the month of March. I have to agree with the two other reviewers that this is a wonderful house. We had never been to the Crystal River area and this was a perfect location. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly (met many dog walkers) where nature abounds. The kayaks were a pleasant surprise and were taken advantage of often. The birds, dolphins and of course, manatees were spotted and our black lab was very happy with her daily “dips” into the canal trying to catch those pesky mullets. The house was very laid out with ample closet space and plenty of storage drawers for all our cloths. The kitchen had a good selection of cooking vessels and utensils. The owners, Ed and Kathy were very accommodating and pleasant. My husband and I are avid college basketball fans and were disappointed to find out we weren’t able to get channels on the TV for “March Madness.” I emailed Kathy and they immediately made arrangements to up-grade the cable service to include more channel for us. We were very pleased. If we go back to this area in the future, we will certainly make this our first choice.
