For decades, visitors have been drawn to La Quinta to experience the best in leisure and luxury. La Quinta has long been hailed as an exclusive resort getaway with some of the best golf in the country. La Quinta even caught the attention of the Robb Report when it was named 'America's Ultimate Golfing Destination' in the publication's 2003 Best Places to Live issue.

Blessed with the natural beauty of the Santa Rosa Mountains, La Quinta is the 'Gem of the Desert.' La Quinta began as a private retreat for Hollywood legends like Greta Garbo and Clark Gable with the inception of the La Quinta Hotel in 1926 (now the exclusive La Quinta Resort & Club). For years, the rich and famous escaped to La Quinta's secluded hotel and casitas, and in 1982, the City of La Quinta officially incorporated.

Today, La Quinta has grown into a retail, restaurant, art, and entertainment hub tucked in a quaint mountain cove. Historic roots are weaved throughout this cozy community, blending the City's insurmountable beauty and inspired recreational activities with the charm that's lured visitors to La Quinta for decades. Come and discover this ideal desert paradise!

This is my home away from home in the desert! Unfortunately, I can only come out during the horseshow in Thermal once a year. The good news is that other than during the horseshow, the home is all yours the rest of the year.

Karoline S. purchased this house in 2011

I've decorated and finished the home to be my own, not a rental. I have high quality everything, so it feels like your own home, not a rental. Just bring your toothbrush, everything else is there for you!!

This is Country Club living at it's finest!! The community is not only guard gated, but there are security guards driving the community continually. The grounds are breathtaking, there's nothing like a nice bike ride around the community!
