Very Quiet

My wife and I stayed here January 27th & 28th 2012. The location was great but, it would have been a long walk to Old Town. Very glad we decided to drive to Old Town. But, the house heated up quickly for how cold it got at night. The cable was great and the internet was worked perfect once I realized that the first letter in the password should not be capitalized.
One thing to really pay attention to when arriving, the rental is in the back, on an alley. Not on the main street. If you arrive at night, it might be hard to find without realizing it is in the alley.
The place is upstairs so if you are gimpy or limited, it might be difficult for you make it upstairs. The stairs would be quite challenge during a snowstorm or ice. But, the patio was a nice feature if you just want to step outside for a moment or if you smoke.
Really enjoyed the city of Ft Collins!

Owner's Response: Our location is a lovely twenty minute walk to the center of Old Town and about the same distance to the CSU campus. Plus we are quite close to City Park and the local grocery. I always enjoy strolling along the wide streets and seeing the vintage homes, the passers-by and the huge trees, especially in the summertime. The unit is a carriage house which is quite typical for the neighborhood as is the location which is adjacent the alley. I try to provide good directions and keep the lights on so if arriving in the evening, it will be found easily. Further we always shovel the stairs and the walkway following any snow. We have corrected the problem with the internet instructions. Thanks so much for the review we are so happy that you enjoyed our beautiful city!
