Our beautiful home in the colonial town of San Miguel was built approximately 15 years ago but was built in the traditional style of colonial mexican homes with tile floors and boveda ceilings. We have a very large and fully equipped kitchen and a housekeeper who comes 3 days a week (and she is more than happy to prepare delicious mexican or international food for your comida). We have recently completed our beautiful roof garden which has spectacular views over the old city. It is a large and very comfortable home within 10 minute walk of centro and nice and close to Juarez park. The restaurants and art in San Miguel are spectacular, but our kids also enjoy the large hot tub in our gaden ( and swimming atthe big pool at the bottom of the road)) as well as some breathtaking horseback rides through the canyon. There are 4 plus bedroom each opening onto its own balcony.

We are a family of 4 - less traditional than you think - usually the house is used by myself, Joan, the owner, and one of my daughters and her 2 children. We are Canadian but fell in love with San Miguel many years ago and decided to build a home there. We enjoy visiting and living in our home there very much.
The Owner purchased this house in 1989
we built this property - and paid attention to every detail. I love to decorate and chose every piece of art and furniture throughout my travels in mexico. It is a very spacious home - large rooms, bovida ceilings and tile floors. Guadaloupe is very friendly and a great cook!
Lupe's guacuamole, view of the parroquia lit up at night from the roof garden, daily walks to the Paroquia, and jardin, entertaining friends in the garden and reading in the hot tub..
