Our family vacation condo has the feel that you are hanging right over Lake Erie. It seems more like the ocean as you look out at the vast expanse of water, waves hitting the shore in their ocean-like way. Everywhere you look you see the beauty of the lake. What a place to write a book, or have the most awesome family time as we have had over the years. The romantic nights blow in the windows, especially in the upstairs master with a jet tub on the lake-end of the bedroom … just the water below and the moon above. A spacious double car garage has always held our jet skis, water toys and auto. The private pool with this condo is out on the edge of the lake and you feel almost like you are on a boat as you enjoy the pool fun. Min. 3 month rental.

Nearest Ferry : Jet Express at 10 Miles

Vermilion is the last harbor town before the outskirts of Cleveland. It’s a sleepy marina town with quaint streets, local art, candle makers and coffee fare. Chef John D'Amico from Chez Francois at 555 Main Street, Vermilion is the highlight of any stay. “'I can't imagine a more romantic, amazing dining experience than Chez Francois on the water on a late summer evening. We have been here several times and are continually amazed at the quality of food and the amazing service. It is truly worth the extra expense.” Their wine tasting bar Touche - awesome - especially when coming in right off your boat or from swimming. Paper Moon, a local vineyard and tasting room is another must visit. On other days, it's walking the local street fairs to find new and unique little ‘off the beaten track’ places to eat, hike and explore.

My husband and I just competed a 3 month stay in the most beautiful condo on Lake Erie anyone could imagine. The home was spotless and the view was spectacular. The amenities covered all our needs including beds that were very comfortable. If we ever had any questions or concerns both Carol, the property manager and Kathleen the owner were quick to answer and made us feel right at home. The town of Vermilion which was only a few miles away was lovely and quaint with sailing boats, charming shops and delicious restaurants. We spent nearly every day downtown walking and taking in the sites. We would highly recommend a 3 month stay or longer and I promise that the memories will last a lifetime.
