Come stay at this charming historic home. As you drive up, you will see gorgeous mature pecan, fig, and other native trees giving the property an inviting ambience. The house was originally built 100 years ago, and has been added on since, with all the modern commodities that we all enjoy. Just a block away is the Cibolo creek where you can see wildlife like, ducks, turtles, nutrias, and more. Why not take your fishing rod and a cooler and try to catch something! One more block away and you will find numerous places to dine, shop, antiques and entertainment. Depending on the time of the year, different fairs, festivals, shows and parades are held right on main street. You still need more excitement, then jump in your car for a 15 minute drive to San Antonio, upscale shopping, movies, fiesta texas and much more! This is the place to stay if you want to experience the old nostalgic feeling of the Hill Country!

We bought this place because of it's charm! I fell in love with the mature trees, the peaceful sense it brought me & the great location! I hope many others can share this house and enjoy it just as I do!
Liza Linder purchased this chateau / country house in 2005
I bought this house because as soon as I saw it, I fell in love with the architecture and mature trees that surround it, not to mention its great location!
Location, location, location! You will get a glimpse of living in the past, but still have all the comfort of modern living. This house now has a small cottage on the same property that can be rented separatly or with this house (listing #600600). Both still totally private from each other. Call owner with any questions.
I wanted to thank all of you who chose my listing on VRBO, and had the opportunity to stay at my charming home. This is my first year renting, and it would not be possible without wonderful people like you!! Thanks for enjoying your stay, making this home your home, and taking care of this beautiful place. I love to hear your feedback and I work hard to make this place better every day. I hope to serve you again in the future when you come back to Boerne :)
This house was perfect- perfect size, perfect location, perfect to call home. Our family of 4 fit nicely plus extra space. Our favorite part included walking into town for coffee and treats.
Weekend stay at this cozy home. Clean & nice. Safe neighborhood. Walking distance to historic downtown. Unique property with loads of privacy. Will stay here again.
A family with kids in summer or at Thanksgiving would really enjoy this house. Pretty living room, great dining area... Good yard for our dog. The beds were terrible and the house was quite cold when we were there in a cold snap. The only king bed was upstairs with no heat and a challenging, dark staircase. We had to sleep in a tiny full bed. Finally we split up but the bunk bed was like sleeping on a camp cot. The owner was delightful but we could never stay there again due to the poor sleep we had there.
Our family of 5 just finished up a month long vacation in this house and it was sure hard to leave!! We loved everything about it. The house was comfortable & cozy, with everything we needed, and the location was awesome. My kids (9, 11, & 12) loved hopping on their bikes and exploring all the bike and walking paths along the Cibolo creek that was literally a two-minute walk from the house, not to mention the wonderful Main Street in Boerne with all the nice shops and boutiques, all within walking distance. Oh yeah, and the Bear Moon bakery was a great place for breakfast, just around the corner. We loved bird-watching & having breakfast every morning on the picnic table in the tree-covered yard. Boerne had everything we needed, but if we felt like going into San Antonio, we were only a 15-minute drive from The Rim/La Cantera, some of the best shopping anywhere! Liza was great to work with, always quick with getting back to us, very professional and easy to talk to. Thanks Liza! Hope to be in contact with you for next summer!
Was a wonderful stay, the house had all the amenities needed. It's a short walk down to the river and near loads of great shopping. It was clean, well kept and a lot of fun!
This beautiful weel kept and comfortable home was in a perfect location for bringing my daughter and grandson to Schlitterbahn and seaworld. Also for me to take a day riding my motorcycle in the hill country.
